Ischia, Italy Tour #2 - Beaches of Ischia - 4K

This walking tour of the island of Ischia, Italy was filmed on Saturday, September 15th, 2018. This walk begins at San Pietro Beach and continues along the shoreline through Fisherman's Beach, and La Mandra Beach. At La Mandra beach you'll have a great view of Castello Aragonese. The walk continues through Ischia Ponte (Borgo di Celsa) and ends at Piazzale Aragonese. The walk continues in Part 3 with a tour of Castello Aragonese. Thanks for watching!
I use my phone as a video monitor while I walk and while walking on San Pieteo beach I viewed a text message and it caused and error on my Gopro and I lost the last 5 minutes of walking along the beach.

After watching these videos of southern Italy, I've learnt that the traffic there is definitely as dangerous as in Turkey. I guess that's more or less the case everywhere along the Mediterranean coast. It's probably part of the charm? lol.

Yeah, I don't know about Turkey but for sure, Southern Italy is a whole different place than northern Italy. I very rarely see anyone follow traffic laws unless there is a red-light camera.

If you look at any official traffic and bad driving stats, you’ll see that there are many other places in Europe that are worse than Italy…Portugal, for instance…and the area of Naples itself it’s a bit on a different dimension, not everywhere in the South it’s that bad

This was almost the way I walked from Ponte to Porto. Nice to see the park and the bench I was sitting on. Can't wait to see the part through the Castello. The large white decorations all along the streets of Ischia Ponte, do you know the reason for this? It wasn't there when I was there earlier this year.

Ciao, thanks! No, I am using a Hero 6 on a selfie stick. I was just in Forio yesterday. I rented a scooter and went to Sant'Angelo to film a walk. Then I then rode around the island exploring. I am hoping to go back soon and walk Forio and Lacco Ameno. I really enjoy the island am looking forward to going back. Do you have any suggestions on what to see?

Lol...yep, I walk around with a Gopro on a selfie-stick. I had my sister make me a shirt with her Cricut machine. Says "Prowalks Walking Tours" on it with the KZbin logo. Got my knee brace on. :) I even bought myself a handy dandy fanny pack since I have to carry so many batteries with me. I think I show up in a few other reflections in my walks. Maybe one day I'll turn the camera around. I know some people want to see a video of me walking just to see how I do it. Maybe I'll have to get my drone to follow me. I'll do that next time I walk the Path of the Gods.
