I have been subscribing your channel for at least a year now and your work never fail to impress me, mate. You inspired me to start making my own music mashups (but I haven't post any of them on YT yet) and I received some positive feedback from my friends, so thanks for inspiring me and others I do have one question though, do you apply a compressor effect to all or at least some of your mashups that you made?

that message apparently slipped through, so sorry for the extremely late response. Directly compressing is something that I don't really do for mashups. The tracks I use are usually already compressed so no reason to double down on that. Actually, I am sometimes trying to DEcompress the songs a bit by using a compressor with essentially "inverted settings". Because when you stack so many things on top of each other, the noise floor becomes very ... loud and this negatively affects the dynamic range, so sometimes I try to increase it a bit this way. Only helps so much though as you have to be very subtle with the decompressing because otherwise it becomes audible.
