Did they just deleted my previous comment? Why? Because I spoke the harsh truth? Well, then let me say it again. LDH should promote this group more. This group has the potential to be great. Maybe even become bigger than their boy groups. Unfortunately, LDH is just wasting the girls skills. They never put much effort in promoting or marketing this group (or any female artists), except for boy groups or other male artists. It is a shame, because these girls could have been the future of LDH.

LDH does a pretty good job at promoting their female talents. They have regular radio and TV appearances, a lot of content and constant updates on SNS, song tie-ups to promote their music, individual schedules for the members, individual SNS accounts for the members, and most importantly a stable support system. A lot of international fans just can not differentiate between actual public interest in a group and promotional efforts from an agency. Unfortunately for LDH girls, non-idol girl groups just aren't as popular in Japan as traditional idol girl groups, and there's not much LDH can do about that. Not to mention, the general interest in jpop girl groups from the domestic audience has greatly decreased in the past years. Even top idol girl groups have lost a lot of their popularity. Lastly, there are also the business politics of the jpop industry that make everything even more complicated. I hate to say it, but fans like you without much general knowledge about the jpop industry are just very naive and screaming into the void. (sometimes it also seems like you don't even know the schedules of the artists you're a fan of either but anyways...)

It is sad that girl groups aren’t as popular, but they sometimes straddle a thin line. They can end-up too cutesy or too vulgar. And plus they have to be real good to catch the interest of fans, especially girl fans. Just cause they’re “girls” doesn’t mean they’ll get female fans to follow. As the saying goes “you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink.” In other words you can advertise them everywhere, doesn’t mean they’ll be the most popular. People will like what they’re gonna like, (plus not to mention we women or girls are our own worst enemy).😮‍💨🤷🏽‍♀️

They tend to have more female than male fans since their debut, most likely due to coming from a company that is most known for their boy groups and having the same training as the boy groups (thus having more interest from a female audience from the start). When you visit or look at pictures from release events or concerts of LDH girl groups, you can see that their fans are a really mixed bag, I'd say it's usually 65% women and 35% men. However, LDH girl groups just don't catch the attention of the general public in Japan. E-girls was an exception because they were tied to Exile and considered the "female version" or "sister group" of Exile. This connected them to a popular legacy group, which made it easier for them to garner attention, be marketed to the general public, and get invited to popular TV programs. No other LDH girl group had this type of advantage or privilege. The only one that comes close is Girls2 because the members starred in different seasons of an extremely popular children's TV show before their debut in the group.
