ISDT Air8 Full Review (2nd attempt) Buy or No Buy

Update: I tried out ISDT Q6 Nano, did not like the rocker button. Then came the ToolKitRC M8S, almost every aspect of it is superior to ISDT except for the screen quality. M7 has better screen but smaller (same as Air8) but I ended up with M8S with a larger screen. Software navigation is so much better too.

what power supply are you using ?? I have tryed to power mine off 3 differant 'laptop' (switching) power supply. but the screen goes crazy, and just keeps changing by itself :( I hate mine... totel waste of time and money works fine, if I power it of another battery.

I used various power supply from 12v to 19v and also 6S battery, made no different. I returned it and got myself a RCToolKit charger, no more headache

@@customtoyrevolution "RCToolKit" ? the 3rd power supply I try was a "ToolKitRC ADP-100 100w 20V 5A Power Supply with XT60 Output" but the screen still goes crazy :( I'll look at their chargers

I’m facing the same problem with my brand new Air 8. Even changing the power supply the screen looks like having own life. Plus that the touchscreen (circle) does not accept any command when plugged using 12V-24V power supply, it only works when using a lipo battery. Very disappointed!

​@@danilo_dcq Yes... I gave up on mine, it's now in a box in the garage. What a waste of money. I bought 3 ToolKitRC charges, for less than the Air 8, and they all work GREAT 😍

same app issues to me, it works in discharge but not at all in charge

Return it if you can. It has been confirmed to be hardware issue.

air 8 disappointed me because I already bought a second piece and it does not transfer charging to the mobile phone at all when powered by 24V 350W, when powered by a lipo battery it works, when powered by the source it only transfers discharge. I wrote to the developer and the email address was not found. So it is not possible to contact the manufacturer and the seller does not respond

I am sorry you bought one. I truly believe yours and many others are defective. Firmware update will not help, it's a hardware issue. You can contact them via www.isdt.co/?lang=en Email: [e-mail] Their response: buy a new one, LOL My response: no thanks, filed a claim and bought RCToolKit M8S
