This movie is so important for understanding the burdens and changes required to let all people be happy and live a peaceful, sane life.

11:25 - "At a policy level, the first step is the process of bringing transnational corporations under democratic control. We need to We need to focus three key mechanisms that government use to shape the economy. What they choose to regulate both at the National level and internationally through trade treaties. What they choose to tax and what they choose to subsidise. At the moment, governments of every political colour are using these mechanisms to favour the big and the global. If there is to be any chance of averting social or environmental breakdown, we need to level the playing field." The further point that they illustrate where they find three times the income effects, three times the jobs and three times the tax proceeds for local government when we shop locally (versus chains). Relocalizing and re-regulating banking is also identified as crucial.

No, no, no! Corporations use government to achieve their ends. Our politicians are so venal and corrupt that they go along with the corporations. What we need is our politicians with our help to stand up to the corporations and to use the power of their sovereign currencies to work for public purpose NOT corporate purpose. #LearnMMT

We are deprived from our capacity to make our home. There is so much in respecting our inner gifts and innate guts: they are given to us. Let's work hand in hand. We need to trust the goodness of ourselves and our neighboring villages. Life is all we have now. We celebrate life by breathing in and breathing out. Let us take care of our planet. God is our true treasure.

Less people would not make this globalization possible. Less agriculture would not make such a huge population possible.

Yes, make it small, but make every person sovereign--if you are in a small village and for any reason you do not fit in, and it hurts you to stay and try to fit in, you should have absolute freedom to leave and be safe. To live alone if necessary.

Globalization and digitization is inevitable in this world and age. Innovation, smart government policies and Efficient ways of production for small local entities will be a paradigm shift to conquer large corporations which have been implicated in state capture, job exploitation and determining the standards of living through low income distribution, particularly in emerging economies.

the greatest tragity is having the word "economics and happiness" in the same sentence. "economics" comes with control from self-interested strangers that are very discontent thinking ecconomics, control and monotary things is an acceptable substitute for happyness.
@KOLBENPFIEL6 жыл бұрын
I don't think the idea is to substitute economics for happiness. Economics is the production and allocation of resources, and we all gotta eat. Economics is only a bad word because ours is shit

The video makes lots of good points but it's very biased and seems to oversimplify many points.
