I have a list of all the items I like to take to a quilt retreat. If I pack at the last minute I know if I take the items on my list I will have everything I need. I always take my chair so I know I will be comfortable. It is nice to have a couple of projects cut out and ready to go!

I just wanted to tell you that I got not 1 but 2 boxes from the Sewers Club based on YOUR recomendation in one of your unboxing videos. I WAS NOT disappointed!!! First of all, they double checked with me BEFORE shipping whether or not I really wanted 2. Secondly, both boxes will easily work together in the quilt I have planned for our new king size bed. I am so glad I found your channel for so many reasons.

Great video 😊 But, I thought retreats are where there is a pattern. People bring or purchase from the retreat, the fabric. then the group makes the same quilt and learns something new. Are there different kinds of quilt retreats. For someone who has been sewing since I was under 10 and making quilts for over 40 years, I have never been to one. Thank you for sharing all the great pics.

Yes it can be anything really. All depends on what everyone wants to do.

My advice is put your name on all of your equipment with a non erasable pen. Things get mixed together accidently and this makes it easy to seperate.

Or use address labels, especially if you’re at a retreat with quilters you don’t know. And I always stress to my regular sewing group to at least put your initials on everything. I’m the setup person and last out of the room. I can’t tell you how many times something has been left and I don’t know who it belongs to.
