TLDR: Norman has the cantrip Prestidigitation, which can alter taste of 1 cubic foot material for 1 hour. This would allow him to alter a maximum 339 mugs worth of beer at once. I think thats enough for this but if its even if its not, William is a bard and also can use this spell, so he may have it or choose it in the future. Just a tip for new isekai/dnd brewers. Also, Presti has a ton of other effects and applications so i suggest Briggs to read the spell description and start to takes notes of how Norman would abuse it. Prestidigitation is the best utility cantrip of 5e. Long Version: Norman could just have used Presidigitation for the beer. It can alter taste or cool the beer in the barrel that is being served for 1 hour, 1 cubic feet of beer for each use and he can maintain 3 uses, thats if William Shakespeare also dont have the same cantrip. Prestidigitation can also cool the beer in the barrel, so no need for that ice spell exploit. Thats 28,3 liters (if each liter is 4 mugs, so around 113) of cold AND good tasting beer for up to 1 hour. Depending on the number of costumers, you have to do it a couple of times. The only problem is controling when to drop the effects to set another barrel, as people can still be drinking as they drink gets bad. Having two users of presti (Wizard and Bard) solves this problem as you can choose to end of effect after some time serving drinks from a barrel altered by another caster. I love the old cliche in anime where everyone's first answer to the question 'Okay, we need money. What's the easiest way to do so- a business of some sort. What is the easiest business to run in almost any town or village or city- BOOZE.' Nearly 10/10 times this is the very first conclusion anyone in almost any anime I've ever seen reaches. Although Tony getting drunk and becoming the goofy old man is great, he just can seem to grasp that he alone is the only one who can actually hear his personal god; the pipe idea was a really good notion, however. The Shark going in with so much confidence on making this brewery and yet his beer requiring a seemingly godly amount of assistance just to be drinkable is freaking hilarious. Norman and myself would appear to have a similar problem, in that whenever pretty women whom we have not spent a lot of time with and that we have been shown a growing amount of affection there-from, it is more or less always a trap at some point. And then there's Cody just going would talking with everyone like he's the Chillmaster 5000 or something; if he had a mind for it, he could easily be the best choice for going into a crowd and gathering information without raising any suspicion. I don't think I caught it but what class apparently was DeVinchi? Just something about him pricks the hairs on the back of my neck and has my sense of foreshadowing saying something like 'surprise plot twist way late in the game has him turn out to be a super powerful final boss enemy'. At this point I only dearly wish you guys could put out more episodes faster, because this stuff is better than most shows/movies out there nowadays.
