Imagine the classic fantasy isekai but furthermore or gravity falls kind of weird. What I want is more logical ways of isekai'ing like a sci-fi machine from 10000 years into the future does some valse vacuum black hole tech and makes a portal to a fantasy world. Not some r.o.b (random omnipotent being) doing it for the story. Also I want sci-fi tech in fantasy world because it's so underused

@detectivewhocoulditpossibl68344 ай бұрын
@@Krane5328 honestly more people have to realize all of these story ideas are written about, thought out, and just aren't popular. I know for a fact because I've read them (on royal road) that there are enjoyable stories like this out there and literally this exact premise (with or without the sci fi tech) has been written about. I've read it. The problem is that popular stories and stuff on shelves has to be palatable and generally not flip tropes on their head because you want everybody to understand the book. It's like the lowest common denominator thing for pop songs in music but that sounds demeaning to people who haven't discovered the genre so I just like to say widely accessible. If you really actually want this story you have to sift through bad stories like crazy and that's just how this sort of thing works. The omnipotent being is legitimately easier to explain in a quick synopsis and less complex so more authors use it. Also I'm not going to lie having an actual force doing it adds much more mystery and possibility for a story from the outset like maybe killing the god that sent you here because they just play with the lives of people they isekai (worth the candle) or they actually put you here to fight another god but you discover the first god was evil too. Or they're an earth lore accurate god that did stuff throughout irl history and now you can deal with another world affected by this god. My point is that people use the god trope because it gives intention to the force that brought you here. There's definitely no rights or wrongs to writing isekai stories and the "wrong" is definitely not the one that everybody uses. The only thing I find annoying is when there's bad writing or horrible annoying characters, (which I will add happens a lot more with the "gravity falls or furthermore" kind of weird cause it can so easily fall into cringe and "oh you must be new here" from the locals in response to every weird-ass thing that happens) or when the author leaves no room for the story to grow (which happens ESPECIALLY if somebody has superior tech to the locals off the bat.)

That's... actually correct? Four kids go from our world to a fantasy world they have to save and become heroes and rulers. Some of them more than once and there are other kids landing there later (and earlier) to do some world-saving as well. They're not summoned there (but there were prophecies about them) and they weren't about to die, but I don't think those are necessary isekai requirements. To think that one of the oldest isekai stories may be one written by a very religious author paraphrasing biblical events.

As stated before, he’s a sidekick character to the reap protagonist. And It’s still in the idea/planning phase, but the title is planned to be *The Monster In Me: Rejecting My Humanity In Another World* You know how in every Isekai where the protagonist is reincarnated as a monster only to always, without fail, gain a human form they’ll spend the rest of their time in? (Cough, Slime & Spider) This is the opposite of that. Our protagonist wants to be a monster (An actual monster, not a humanoid one like a goblin or something) , but stays a human. In a world of magic and science our protag will do everything in her power to shed her humanity, come heaven or high water! However, the Angel Queen (Main antagonist) is having none of that, and summons stock isekai heroes through various means. Our red pixel slime buddy is the first of these heroes.

If it helps any, because this is made by ashipwright I think the person at the end is an outer. Basically people who have some metaphysical awareness that they are in a comic / animation and can use a power (and sometimes multiple) to their advantage (and occasionally detriment). The powers usually use their medium to work or effect things. E.g a fast hand slice causing a blur that slices anything the blur touches.
