Ya, it is ready to go with 32 presets, when you want to adjust the EQ or load an IR, you will need the app software to do that, download it here www.cuvave.com/appdownload

Yes, it can be powered alone by USB, also can connect to Android bluetooth cell phone for editing using its software, the software available to download at google, search for 'Cube Suite'
