Today, Friday, January 21, we went to the Isfahan Carpet Exhibition.
A very beautiful and colorful exhibition that shows the art of Iranian hands and it is very pleasant to see it.
Isfahan carpet, Nain carpet, Tabriz carpet, Turkmen carpet, Bakhtiari carpet, etc. have all been collected in Isfahan hand-woven carpet exhibition.
When it comes to Iranian culture and identity, the Iranian carpet is undoubtedly one of the prominent symbols that show this culture and identity.
Apart from the carpet industry, which today has become one of the strongest levers of the country's trade, this Iranian art has also taken on a cultural function; So that the designs and patterns of each one not only represent a special historical period, but also reveal symbols of the culture of its weavers who are from specific regions of Iran.
Carpet weaving in Iran dates back to 500 BC, more than 2,000 years ago. The artistic value of Iranian hand-woven carpets, which have adorned world-famous museums for centuries, adds to the importance of this important commercial and cultural product.
Today, carpets from these periods are housed in major museums around the world, including the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Los Angeles Museum, the Vienna Museum of Applied Arts, the Louvre Museum in France, the Stockholm Museum and many other major museums around the world.
Isfahan Carpet Exhibition will expose the handicrafts of carpet weavers, carpet weavers and activists in the fields of production, sales, trade, designers, painters, restorers and embossers of hand-woven carpets to the public and will create a platform for those interested in this field with the latest and most beautiful products. Get acquainted with handmade carpets.
77% of the participants in this exhibition of Isfahan handmade carpets from Isfahan province are present in the exhibition and 23% of the participants come to Isfahan from other provinces to exhibit their activities.
Isfahan handmade carpet exhibition has an area of ​​15,000 square meters and activists in this field from the provinces of Isfahan, East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Khorasan Razavi, North Khorasan, Golestan, Fars, Qom, Tehran, Kurdistan and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari are present.
