On this international day of Hypertension, I gratefully commend the members of the International Society for Hypertension for the good jobs that they are doing to reduce mortality caused by high blood pressure. The voluntary services of our own Prof Augustine Odili who donated HBP measuring equipment to 52 Wards of my Community, AWKUZU IBILIBE OGADA remain exemplary in humanitarian medical support services. What with his dedication to regularly monitor the utilisation of high blood pressure measuring instruments, people in my community have become sensitive to the need to extend health by preventing hypertension and cardiovascular risks. Kudos to the members of the International Society for Hypertension.
