'Evil' is linked with ignorance of the cause and effect of doing 'Evil'. Sin as such might sum it up reflects back on the doer, as does similarly thoughts and not just conscience but the vibrations people put out.

Wonderful delving into identity, attachment and life essence The eloquence is sublime. I would suggest listening to all of Sadhguru to better grasp the whole represented by the varied contexts of what he is addressing. Duality is a reality to us humans but at much higher levels it is not reality. There is no good and evil once you reach this dissolved state. Being caught in in duality does not change this. Duality is though how we understand better at our human level. Read Hawkins.

“Attachment is like a plastic flower” it’s not life… miss his old ways (or young;) ways of talking he was so much sharper, composed, his voice the way he pauses in between, the timing, the jokes, the obvious wisdom and choice of his words 😮…. been listening to him wearing these yellow colored hat ,bandana, scarf what are 😂 don’t know how these are called.. lol? going through some hard times emotionally mentally right now and his old voice and words matches me sooo much better… I miss the intro music of every single Isha video in the beginning.. the Indian flutes so beautiful… he became so big but I love him here… namaskar ❤ gonn a try how many of my old favorite videos can be found. Watching Sadhguru since 2013 .. or something…. it’s hard to believe It’s over nine years.

@theebu29 I think fasting is a good way to introduce higher states of conciousness (spelling?) but it's not %100 needed to raise energy , in my own experience fasting (and smoking pot and doing mushrooms lol) brought me extremely into the spirit world (didn't stay a good experience for long) , so I can't deny it's use. I don't practice yoga, but I used to stretch a lot and sort of do things that were like yoga and chi gong. I think I understand the energy, though I know I have a lot to learn :)

@LuDimezofKush No, is quite the opposite. What makes us humans is what differentiate us from animals. Animals act driven by instincts, humans can choose, and the ultimate choice is rejecting selfish instincts. By deciding to act contrary to instincts we become closer to become 100% humans, and we elevate our consciousness. We are talking about fasting, rejecting materialism, giving away instead of taking for us, forgiving instead of taking revenge, and loving instead of hating.

In the early years of Christianity, there was always a diverse and lively community that approached the Divine in a progressive spirituality from dualism to non-dualism (as well as everything in between). Through the centuries there were those who did come to realize the non-dualism taught by Christ, such as Origen, Meister Eckhart and Emmanuel Swedenbourg. Also as a side I would say study the lost years of Jesus and recognize the evidence that Jesus traveled and studied in India.

Devotional Non-Duality(Advaita)Teachings by Dr. Hawkins. Anyhow love is not the opposite of hate. All things that can be expressed dualistically are in reality one thing and not reducible to any lower level of being. Dualism is a convenient means of stating the facts about experiences. Sadhguru points out love is really being for life and attachment ties us up. My take on it is that attachment opens up anti-life experiences, hate, anxiety. It's not opposites as how much you are for life.

@TheLucky71ful Yes you discovered right, i have been born as muslim as well and i have studied very much Sufism in Islam which i consider as core of islam. What i have studied in Sufism is precisly the same which Sadhguru is speaking about. I feel that some where the core of all religions is exactly the same. They are different only in pherifery which has been made by us people. As great Sufi Master Rumi said in his poem: "WE HAVE PICKED UP THE CORE OF KORAN AND THROW ITS COVER TO THE OTHERS".

In my opinion, there are no opposites. Opposites are mental constructs. For instance, sweet is not the opposite of bitter nor salty nor sour. Duality is an illusion. Attachement is not the same as love, but it doesn't mean it's the opposite of it.

The whole universe is moving by the God energy which is omni present and God energy is doing everything in this universe. The same energy is positive or negative depending upon its position with respect to the other things in the same way as a horse is moving a cart and if we put another horse in the same direction it will act as positively and they can carry double the weight and if we put the second horse in the opposite direction it will act as negatively and the net result is zero.These energies are basically made up of magnetism which carry chemicals/proteins alongwith it and pass on to others if in the same direction and vice versa. In astrology the various planets are driven by different energies which carry different chemicals/proteins and a portion of it come towards earth and affect everything on earth as we say we are affected by planets and it is basically God energy which affect us.So everything to us comes from stars/planets and non-body energies in the same manner as we get rays from the Sun which carry many things which of them some are visible but it may not be visible in case of planets/stars. Our body is functioning due to these energies only and ideas also come to our mind from these energies only continuously and electricity,gravitational forces are also such energies only. The earth is rotating and revolving due to two energies i.e. North-South magnetic and radial energies which are striking on each other and these motions are generated in a similar way as an electric motor functions but we have yet not known about it completely and I have mentioned these facts in detail in my videos on KZbin under " God energy by satnam wadhwa" which will clarify all the universal mysteries otherwise you will never get any correct reply as it is entirely different to that what we think.

Every human being on this planet has met a mentally ill human. Egoism, materialism, corporatism and survivalism is just a product of what we have accepted in our hearts, so its sticks like a glue. And it affects everyone. Even the ones who try to push out of it. People who meditate are less mentally ill. Do you often see guru robbing local store and shooting around with pistol? Why? They have even less money than the robbers actually, but they are more mentally connected with life.

Sounded more as if he was teaching a selfish, mundane, new age doctrine than a path to enlightenment. He should take Ravi Zacharias example and join Christianity to facilitate his progress to the next level of consciousness by rejecting materialism and selfish animal instincts as Christ taught us. Nonsense. Sounds nice, but is BS. There are absolute goods and evils. Making children suffering is and always will be evil, doesn't matter if the society accepts it or not. Giving to another all you have will always be good. The same way, rejecting selfish animal instincts are the ultimate meaning of good, the absolute goodness. Loving each other and be in communion by rejecting our selfish animal instincts is the next level of consciousness evolution. Any enlightened mind should know this.

We are not animals? I'd love to debate this topic. You state humans are conscious beings, but animals are conscious as well. Some species have self awareness and more vast neurological complexity and can do things that humans can do. Humans have reason which can make humans go out of our animal instinct, but you said our very nature isn't of animals then go more in depth please. He proved good was always present and evil was always powerless. Jesus proved life was eternal and death was a lie. Now you have the basis for discerning what is good and what is evil. Gregory M It is hard to face and hard to believe, but 3% are born evil. They are terrified of people and will try to steal your savings before you steal theirs. They will try to kill you BEFORE you kill them. They will do the most horrible things and still sleep peacefully at night. There is no right and there is no wrong to a suppressive person/psychopath. They are great pretenders. If you knew what one was really thinking you would have him or her put into prison. Murder is no problem for them. Psychiatrists/psychologists are aware of their existence and they are called psychopaths, because they are born as monsters. Sociopaths are treated so badly that they are full of anger and hatred for people and will harm others. Sociopaths are so badly hurt by people, that they are no longer human beings. This is not a permanent condition, but you still would not want to hire them or be around them because they can "snap" at any time and do horrible things. This is not true for psychopaths and Hubbard, luckily, discovered that you must have all 12 signs to be one. The rest of us have to make decisions and don't enjoy hurting ourselves/ others. We try to do the right thing, but not the psychopath/suppressive person. Seek and you will find. The truth will set you free.
