So sorry so many shops were closed. You both made the best of the port stop, the beers looked delicious. Love the restroom story. Wishing you happy cruising, safe travels. Thank you for bringing us along. 😊

I have a question I don’t know if you know the answer. I noticed that almost all the sidewalks had a textured strip running along them. Do you know why? It’s too bad Zarco can’t fish off the balcony from what you’ve guys have said over the months I think he would be quite happy with a few beers and his fishing rod sitting on the balcony on sea days, stay safe

The strip is for the blind people to be able to navigate the city. Zarko is always happy. Thank You!

Lived in Okinawa for 3 years from 1997 to 2000. I'm excited to see how it has grown. They have beautiful beaches.

Too bad you came on a Sunday and everything was closed. It reminds me of a cruise when my husband and I visited St. Maarten in the Caribbean on a Good Friday. It was a strange feeling that the usually vibrant island was completely closed.

I'm sure it would have looked better in sunshine and on a normal day, not a Sunday / potential holiday. But I think I'd have given up and gone back to the ship and sat on the deck and enjoyed the view - but I guess you do that all the time so maybe even a bit of a tired Japanese beach resort that's closed is a change! It looks beautiful in season from the pictures you showed - the coral and sandy beaches. I guess you can't hit every single port just at 'the right time'!

Love your umbrella backpack. Where did you get? I love how you’re from Astoria. It’s like watching a neighbor on their journeys . I live in St. Helens.

Sunday everything closed. I hate port days on Sundays. We just did a Sunday in Fakarava French Polynesia, Sunday was shut down completely.

About how many miles do you walk each day? It seems like you walk miles in each of these ports!

Hello,where do you book your shuttle bus? Thank you
@bztravel9 ай бұрын
For the shuttle bus in Ishigaki, Royal Caribbean usually doesn't announce the shuttle option until the day before we dock, as they tend to promote their tours first. You can book the shuttle on the ship, or when boarding the bus, you can simply give them your cabin number, and they'll charge the $20 round trip fee directly to your room

The main island of Okinawa is 100% better. Ruins, gardens, castles and lovely marinas.
