Why do a presentation and no mention of the price that's a turnoff for me

Price can go up and down depending on things like exchange rates and inflation, but clicking the link in the description takes you to Ishimori saxophones currently available with prices.

i looked at these saxophones and i see it has tokyo japan stamped on the side of the bell. i think that is kind of deceiving when there made in tiawan. real turn off. going to have to pass on a purchase.

You shouldn’t pass. Mfg in Taiwan but set up in Ishimori’s Tokyo shop, complete with all the Ishimori mods. Check out the family reputation. Best sax I own. Also have Yanagisawa and Yamaha 82Zii. Killer horns

@@KrisVComm I own a Yanagisawa WO1 and am thinking of getting the 82z or Ishimori as my second horn. How do they compare?
@KrisVComm2 жыл бұрын
@@dannyjang9952 the 82Zii is going to always have that Yamaha brightness thing available. The Ishimori has a more vintage Selmer feel but with better (in my opinion) intonation. You can really put the pedal down and get some great sound out of it when you are pushing it. The Ishimori is a much more free-blowing horn. I like them both and recommend you getting your hands on both so that you knw for sure which you like best. Buying a pro sax is a hefty investment and you should never do it on the word of someone else. You need to play them for yourself. Personally, I love my Ishimori. Also, if you are asking how they compare to a Yanagisawa...well, they are right up there. My Yany is an older soprano (1987 2200R Elimona) but, I have had all my pads changed to kangaroo skin with metal resonators. Each of the mentioned horns are just great instruments.

@@KrisVComm Thanks for the reply, Kris. I might visit Woodstone sometime this year and try it myself!

@@dannyjang9952 Take a look at Sirvalorsax channel. He just did a play test. Julian is looking for a replacement for his Cannonball (he's been playing that brand for 22 years). He just played his first Ishimori yesterday...
