I don't know if anyone else mentioned it before, but *Gedatsu* is the only priest who managed to get away from Skypiea, thanks to his genius strategic retreat. In the manga he even has his own little adventure in the cover stories, where he falls through Skypiea in to the Blue Sea, lands on an island, survives, gets a job, helps an old man fulfill his dream and becomes a co-owner of a hot spring resort. What a lad.

As an electrician, it's always important to remember that it's amperage that'll kill you, not voltage. Eneru was using volts to attack so it's logical as well as possible for people to survive getting hit by his electricity

I used to study for a Mechanical and Electrical Engineering major, and I love when people know this; sure there's a limit to it because eventually there is a limit to how fast how much voltage can go through someone which depends on someone's personal electrical resistance, however, that effect is minimal until you reach TRULY absurd levels of voltage to where the watts going around reach deadly levels

I don't like the fact that death is almost inexistent in One Piece. But is something that Oda doesn't like, cause when he was watching shows as a kid he'd feel bad for the bad guys and other characters to just not appear again. But also it is a story about adventure, is not about the cruelty of life and death, and even when it touches those topics the overall story is about pirates and gomu gomu fist fights.

Oda doesn't really kill anyone unless he has a reason. He has stated Luffy basically breaks the will of his enemies. He is basically the end of their dream so to speak. So yeah, you won't see a lot of death of named characters throughout One Piece. Now there are named characters you may never see or once ever 300-400 chapters they appear. Eneru/Enel will be a cover story for multiple manga chapters. However, he has yet to be seen in the manga again after 193 outside of crew members mentioning him. LOTS of theories around him to go with those chapters. If you get a chance you should see the manga covers for 428-474 as that's Enel's story after these events. Yes, he goes to the moon! The Endless Vearth and he's technically right as there is no water there!

Regarding deaths, it's a the most common and almost the only gripe that even the biggest fans have of the show. It'll stop frustrating you once you stop mourning but, before you start thinking you'll get bored from people not dying, here's 2 things to remember: - The show is 1000+ episodes long by this point and always keeps things fresh. No spoilers. - That one dude in Luffy's backstory who got faded in the coldest way possible by one of Shank's crewmates. That is all.

This is where anime only watches miss out, the manga has cover stories and not all where adapted to anime but they are canon and Eneru's story is continued in one of them and yes he goes to the moon or rather one of the moons that exists within the planets atmosphere. Also if you don't see a body or it's not confirmed by a character NEVER assumes someones dead Oda doesn't seem to like killing off any named characters especially in early story.

This is never shown in the anime, but the Skypieans, Shandians, and Birkens (Enel's homeland) are all originally from the moon or endless vearth as Enel would call it. That's why shandians also have wings despite being from jaya on the ground. Enel does in fact get to the moon and he's chilling with the moon people.
