I understand the significance of national awards, but they should truly represent and highlight the success and efforts of Deaf individuals. Unfortunately, these awards often fail to reflect the genuine achievements of the Deaf community. Many Deaf people work hard, achieve success, and contribute to the nation, but their efforts are either forgotten or overshadowed. This needs to change. Recognition should not just be about titles or awards but about acknowledging the value of Deaf individuals in society. Leaders like the CM or PM, along with the public, should celebrate Deaf individuals' achievements in a meaningful way, showing their importance to India’s progress. National awards should serve as a platform to inspire others and not be seen as the only measure of success. The Deaf community must focus on true accomplishments, creating lasting impacts, and demonstrating that their contributions matter beyond awards. I hope everyone understands the need for this shift-it's about pride, respect, and showing that the Deaf community is vital for India’s growth.
