For anyone wondering why her mother noticed his death late. Creator of the gane is vietnamese where in vietnam there is belief where dead souls can be seen during the night time. When her mom always got home late, she would see the ghost trying to haunt his father every day in the closet, thinking her child is still alive and having some mental problems like schizophrenia ( which is why she mentions pills), until one day where she stays for his son during the day, time when souls are not visible. This is the moment she realizes her son is not there and finds him dead in the closet, the place where he usually goes during the night to “bring dad home” . This is also the reason why his dad was saying stop punishing me because kid was haunting him for 14 days straght after his death until he realized that knowing part of himself. Honestly the game is so fking deep

Here is everything you might've easily missed that you should know about the game. 1. The doll being in a gift box looking like the casket in which Ron is in. 2. The dad being haunted in the hotel references the attempt to free him from the dolls master. 3. The door slamming 14 times in the intro referencing the 14 days after Rons passing. 4. The doll's and the mom's twisted neck referring to his death. 5. The "grown up conversation" that Ron eavesdrop in the beginning of the game is the one in the end in which the mom leaves him. 6. The thing that mister red face puts in the closet in the beginning is Rons body. 7. The end shows the way in which the body of the other children were stored with the first one being by fire, second one being buried and the third one was put in the back of a car. 8. The spell being the motel card which Ron tossed into the room where his mom was being questioned by the police, meaning when the doll said it was the way to defeat Mr. Red Face he wasn't lying. 9. The doll mentions that its neck deformity is nothing compared to the flaw of the other dolls, implying the other children we see died in a worse way than Ron. 10. The woman in the closet references the 2002 logo. 11. The light stops flickering the moment Ron dies which is supposed to represent his heartbeat. 12. The doll's Master represents how the abusive dad acts like an abusive Master towards Ron, so the doll"s master is in fact Mr. Red Face. That's also why you see the scene of Ron's death transitioning into Mr. Red Face holding the doll. 13. The mother sees Ron during nighttime as a ghost for example when she found him in the closet, not knowing he's a ghost. It's like this in the Vietnamese culture ( the creators of the game are Vietnamese ), during nighttime souls can be seen, but during daylight they can't, that's why the mother finds the kid's dead body during daytime, because she couldn't find him cause his ghost couldn't be seen. 14. The dad is Mr. Red Face because your face turns red when you drink too much, that's also why the mother made up that name, because she sees his dad like that all the time, with a red face. 15. The story is based on a true story which took place in 2017. 16. At the start when Ron received the doll, they couldn’t open Ron’s closet because his stories deny it. 17. Ron entered the afterlife trough his parent's closet, and the cat was an angel. 18. His mother said that if he was good, Mr. Red Face would give him a gift, she meant that she always believed that the father would at least do something good for his son, because the boy was still too young and she didn't want the boy to have a bad opinion of his father. 19. I'm not sure about this one but I think the magic trick about the spaghetti which kept reappearing is because he was a ghost and wasn't actually eating the food, but the doll made him think he ate it. 20. Every single encounter with mister red face is a hint: -The doll slamming the bottle on the table and turning into red face being a nod to the dad turning into red face. -The first encounter at night is the dad killing Ron. -The floating doll shows you Ron's perspective of his murder. For those who don't understand, at the start when Ron recieved the doll, they couldn’t open Ron’s closet because his stories deny it. When he went into his parents closet, it was repersenting as him as 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝. What he entered was the afterlife, and the room he went in to see his dad in is the motel room. When the dad said, “stop punishing me,“ because Ron was actually visisting him from the afterlife and saying “dad, let's go home.“. So Bruce was having a nightmare of Ron keep on saying stuff like that. And the 3 children? One was murdered or suffocated in the trunk of the car, one was burnt in a fire, and one was buried. When he threw the spell card into the room his mom was in, it was repersenting as in the end his mom ’dropping’ the motel card. Mr redface was his dad because when you are drunk, you have a red face. The saddest part about this, is it’s based of a true story.

This game really made me feel so much emotions that I couldnt even express them. When the father kept saying "stop punishing me" it was due to him being tirednof the ghost of his son asking him to come back home with him every night for 14 days straight. The scene when the dad strangles him and the lights flicker it represents the kids heart beat. But what rlly got me was the last scene where the other kids told him to come and they were all sitting together. All victims of the same abuse sittting the places their bodies were found.

Rons ghost threw the "spell" aka the motel card in the room, and that it made Mr.Redface aka Bruces location known to "defeat" him aka getting arrested. Here are my conclusions of the game: 1: “red face” is actually a thing. It’s when you drink too much alcohol and your face flushes and turns red, so the dad is referred as “mr red face” cause he drinks to much and he gets angry a lot. That’s why his face turned red towards the end cause he drank too much. Drinking a lot of alcohol can also make you drunk and abusive. So the dad took all his anger out on Ron (aka the child) and he ends up killing him. 2. This isn’t a conclusion, but I like how you didn’t just laugh and joke about Ron’s death like all the other KZbinr does. This is after all is a game based of a true story and has a lot of references to child abuse. I really appreciate how you took this game seriously. 3. The dolls neck is loose is loose because at the end that’s how Ron’s neck goes when his dad, Bruce strangles him to death. 4 At the end, when you see the 3 children there are different stories for them. The first kid was buried alive, the second child was burned alive, and the third child was stuffed in the back of a truck, so probably kidnapped and t0rtur3d. So basically Ron didn't know that he was haunting his dad this entire time, thinking he is just trying to bring him back according to the "knowing doll". That's why you can see the dad cowering looking at the closet of the motel he was staying at and saying "stop punishing me". Mr Red face is his dad. So he technically DID help defeat Mr red face since that piece of paper helped apprehend his dad. He was unknowingly helping to let people know who killed him and lead them to his sh*tty dad. The mom was returning back only at night, when she was able to see Ron's soul wandering around the house. He can't manifest at daytime, but he can at night. This could also be an allegory for Ron's mom having possible mental health issues. After fourteen long days, she finally stays over at daytime and that's when she finally ends up finding his corpse inside the closet. After everything is said and done, later on Ron joins the other kids who are sitting in places they were either killed or hidden after their death. This game has so much symbolism, man. Every time you watch it or play it, you find something new. Incredible writing.

Ron politely inquired, "Are you late again?" and his mom responded " Oh come on my shift ended late " So Ron said " But it's my birthday.. " In which his mom forgot about, She said that Mr. RedFace ( Redface means drunk) will give him a gift if he slept right away, Ron believed her and when he was gonna go sleep, His dad Bruce Stopped him in his track speaking to the mother about the lieing. Then he told the kid to stop eavesdropping on their conversation which he did and went to go to bed. During midnight, Mr. Redface gave him a gift and put something in the closet. When Ron wakes up he finds Doll that looks exactly like him. Which by magic can also speak human words. Ron was amazed to find out it talked, He then took the doll with him and went to eat his favorite food. And the doll peformed magic and made his dish never run out again. Then the " doll " Broke Bruce's Alcohol bottle in which Ron said " My dad's gonna whoop my a##. " Then the doll said " No need to worry, my master has tooken him away. " Ron, Worriedly ran to his parents room where it was empty. The doll was there too, Ron who was scared said " My dad's not bad! " The doll told him his dad often hit him and yelled at him. With the help of the doll, He ended going through a portal which led him to a mysterious cat. Ron said " Where's my dad! " The cat replied, asking who his dad is and his personality. He said " His name's bruce and often yells and hits me, Sometimes even slaps me.. " The cat told him to go through a door across the place, Once he was going there 3 Kids jumped and scared Ron. One kid was in a fire, Another in a Trunk, Lastly. One in a crack. The kids said their also looking for their dad's. Finally Ron went through the room where his dad repeatly said " Stop... Punishing... Me... " Ron didn't know what to do till he saw a card on a table, He grabbed it and turned around just to me grabbed by a green hand, He was led back to the room where his mom saw him and informed him it was midnight. He went to sleep and was woke up in his parents room, He then walked out and found out his parents are filing a divorce. The mom then left where his dad went to the table and drunk the alcohol he slammed it down 3 times and on the third one the bottle broke and his dad became mr. redface. Ron watched as he went to his room which he followed him. He was choking Ron and he was crying for dear life and got his neck snapped and had his body placed in the closet. He went in the room and saw his doll, Badly injured. The doll told him he might be able to open it now which was right, Ron opened it and found his body. He shook in fear and was shocked too, The doll told him he was trying to get you to know the reality. The doll told him that he'd been dead for 14 days ( 2 weeks) Then his mom came back after yesterday and looked for Ron she searched everywhere till she opened his closet where she saw the body. She cried and talked with the cops and while she was talking the card fell out her pocket and which was a card for a cheap motel where bruce had been staying. Then their was a funeral and then on the news told everyone that a dad was arrested ( Bruce) For murder. - The kids in the portal were also dead, the one in the fire got thrown in and burned, The girl in the hole was buried alive, and lastly the kid in the trunk was suffocated in there. - ( sorry if i missed alot :( i tried

know that speed has played this, i think he should try playing “Fran Bow” or “Little Misfortune”, similar themes but in a bit more of a lighthearted cartoon style, some of my fav games, i highly suggest them

For those who don’t know: Speed was playing this game called “Bad parenting” where there’s an alcoholic and abusive dad who hits his wife and kills his son, and speed starts getting mad, personal and a but emotional when the dad hits the mom because he had a similar bad situation with his parents where her mon would be the mean one.

I’m glad he took this fictional child’s life to heart. No kid deserves that, especially with his empathy. You could tell speed’s demeanor changed when things got serious. Good game play, sorry this game hit you as hard as it hits people with abusive parents

W Speed for playing this. This game had a very sad story about reality. The lesson is that not all children gain love and care from their families knowing in the end there are 3 other children who were murdered by their parents in different ways. I almost cried playing this for the first time, glad watching a famous person like speed played it as well.
