He practiced going longer and keeping that high revved engine sort of speak, I wouldn't be surprised if Speed had raced Noah like in a random track, with a curve track that it would throw off Noah considering how fast Speed got out the gate. Lastly, an official race is at least 60 meters for indoor track, Su Bingtian from China for example, is actually more "raw" like Speed said and even he had to trained for years just to crack the 10 secs mark for 100 meters because he was shorter than most.
