I’m also a Vietnamese and I’m truly sorry for the behavior of our country. First of all is the “zombie effect” through out the livestream and two freaky dude overcharged your trial on hoverboard, the cost should only be around 30k-50k VND, but they took 1 mils VND instead. I already told the police they will come to shut him down. If you plan to stay in HCM city for a couple more of days, then I have some selection of traditional food for you. Phở, cơm tấm, bún thịt nướng or bún chả, bún bò Huế, hủ tiếu Nam Vang,… Mostly are just different type of noddles with special soup. Also one more thing don’t try it in a luxurious restaurant, they usually taste worse then street vendor(undebatable).You should take a visit to district 7, the security in district 7 in Phú Mỹ Hưng are legit so probably the “zombie effect” won’t happened again. And again, I am truly sorry for your experience in Vietnam on the first day😢
