The problem of Indian analysts is that they always underestimate the intelligence of Pakistanis. Pakistan wants them to believe that ISI was responsible for the 26/11 whereas in reality, Musharraf was actually looking forward to the Kashmir. I think Malhotra ji is very uninformed about 1.5 m Indian student quality. 90% of them are one who have money, but are not intelligent enough make through good quality colleges in India. But yes, the other 10% from our prestigious colleges are loss for us. Govt cant bring manufacturing if our sicial attributes are not compatible. Our labor force has habit of frequent tea break, tobbacco break, then always gossiping, always willing to go on hartal at even small pretence. Our productivity is just 50% due to this. Chinese race is not only intelligent but also hard working. They dont form union and strike. It will not be possible to compete with them without transformation. Our beaureocracy is always rent seeking at multiple level. You need to not only pay bribe money, but also keep travesing between various agencies for periodic clearance. I do not see any significant improvements in manufacturing in India. And if Modi is gone, brace for even more imports and decline of manufacturing.
