Lou Anarumo always has a good plan for the Chiefs. Almost all teams play the Chiefs with 2 high safety now, since the Bucs did it in the SB. They take away the long ball and force Patrick to have a ton of patience, esp. the Bengals. He's just gonna have to go back to it. I know it's really hard for him to do, but he's just gonna have to forfeit the air yards for the sake of killing them by papercuts. Teams open up the middle and just let the Chiefs run all day. If you have rookies fumbling the ball, Patrick is gonna get even more impatient. Everybody thinks Rashee is just an over the middle guy but he can beat you over the top occasionally. They can always try it I guess once or twice a game, if there's not a safety over the top. He's just gonna have to remember, in 2022 he led the league in TD's, yards, broke the all time yardage record, was 1st in ppg, 1st in ypg, 1st in passes of 20+, AND 40+ yards, not because he forced the ball down the field, but because he perfectly led his guys for YAC. I could be wrong, but I think there is also something to be said for Kelce going out and documenting all his secrets online for TEU. Mahomes and Kelce with Alex Smith just yesterday talking about how they take advantage of certain looks. My guys, talk about it after you've retired.
