If you take $2000 and turn it into $1.5 million in 2 weeks. If you don't withdraw at least the amount you owe to your parents and enough to live comfortably then you are just a poker degen. When is enough enough???

I remember Isildur time, but don't remember anyone thinking it was Phil Hellmuth, I mean it's so obvious that Isildur could NOT possibly be someone like Phil, who doesn't play that fast, who's often in live tournaments, and who clearly doesn't play that style.

Very clearly an over aggressive guy with a severe gambling problem. Wins over $10m and blows the whole thing. He has absolutely no self discipline or self control, and clearly no respect for his parents who bailed him out. Quite sad really how players like him are seen as some sort of god like complex, when really they're the perfect example of everything people shouldn't strive to be

The personality trait that allows you to win millions of dollars in poker is unfortunately the same Personality trait that will allow you to lose millions of dollars in poker that you've already won instead of putting it in the stock market and playing with the interest. This is why overly aggressive people no matter how talented they are all have a greater potential to end up broke.

@volter84
@volter84 3 жыл бұрын
with this mindset of yours, he would never get to 4mil mark in first place.. he was purest gambler u could get at that times, he always played with 100% roll on the tables, he didn't care about the money there were not many gamblers like him, maybe Archie Karas and few other las vegas degens..
@Romans8-9
@Romans8-9 2 жыл бұрын
It´s not greed. He had no respect for money. Normal people spin up a few 1000 and quit. He literally put his entire roll at risk over and over again, all the way until he had millions. Like the other guy said, there are very few people who have the guts to do that. That´s why it takes most pros years and years to get to the point Viktor was at.

If 11 million means so much to you then you wouldn't have what it takes to make 11 million at poker so quickly.him and the likes of Tom Dwan have no value on money,that's what gives them their aggressiveness and confidence.they play because they like winning and the money is just numbers as far as their concerned
