Not my type.4 hair i dont know what it is but even when i put stuff to moisturize it it dosnt work for me.. ive spend (well my dad) to much money i cant even find the right gell to hold it down or anything and it sucks. I love it but hate it.

Tysepia Williams That might be a porosity issue. My hair is 3c and I always have to use heat to moisturize my hair because it’s low porosity. It’ll even repel water if it’s not warm and given a chance to soak in. Have you tried warming up your conditioner? As for the gel, I have no answers. It could be gel or the application.

So I stumble across your video day 3 of my twists being in. I just committed to taking care of my hair and making an effort. Who knew that I was making minor mistakes that were creating big issues like how I take down my twists. I still need a little more explanation on porosity and all that but my twist out legit looked 100000x better just by changing the take down! Thank you!!!

And those edges wow I'm not even into edges but your castor oil & gorilla snot combo I will be trying very soon!! Much love

Can't wait to try this tomorrow!! When I wear my natural hair I usually wear it in a high puff. People compliment my hair and my curl pattern all the time, but I fail every single time I try to do a twist out or braid out. My hair shrinks and the curls never last or even form. Thank you for this very detailed video!!

I feel like I just attended a twistout clinic 😁 Thank you SO MUCH for this video. You’ve convinced me to go back to WNGs until my hair gets a little longer. With my texture and length I’d need to do super small sections to get long-lasting definition and I just don’t have the patience. So I’ll give it another year or so of growth. Thanks again!

You know-I really appreciate your video about the twistouts! Your hair is beautiful,it long and gorgeous--oh my goodness it is well defined! My sister got me some Echo Styling Gel for my.twistouts, and I hope I see the results, There is a big difference in the coil of the hair at the ends versus the raggedy ends that cannot style the hair. That makes a lot of sense, which is why smaller twists is the starting point, unlike the bigger twists and I already have them. Thanks for your lovely video-it is educational!

This is the best and easiest demonstration for flat twist on line. You are so lovely. However, due to my short hair, bobby pins instead of rollers work for me. My hair dries faster when i place the pins on the very end of the twist, roll the end up once and fasten with the same pin. The tight bobby pin keeps the little hanging portion of the twist thats not flat on my scalp from unraveling. Be sure to buy the good bobby pins with the special permanent coating that doesnt shed, flake off, stick you, or rust. I want to thank you for this video, i just love it. I get compliments on this style. For now I am so happy to have come across your video!!

Here's something that has helped me with my twistouts... when I get down to the bottom of a twist, I put the ends in a small hanging bantu knot - it ALWAYS comes out uniform and nice... so when you havent had a chance to trim, or your coils aren't quite curling right, that makes it always nice and curly at the ends. When you separate, you just slide the bantu knot down and unravel your twist... Hope this helps somebody, because I sure used/use it when needed!

I went to Sally’s w/a friend & realized I needed a deep conditioner Bc I ran out. They had one on display. After reading it, I purchased it. I didn’t realize it was Texture ID, but the pink one w/almond oil. Great product. It hydrated & moisturized my hair; leaving me bouncy curls. The scent could use some improvement, but I was more concerned how it worked, which was extremely well.

#notificationgang Girl I'm all about this routine!♥️ My only issue with twist outs is that I can't use ecostyler gel. I've been with the olive oil since day one but recently it's been flaking with my leave in conditioner. So I had to give one up. Now without the hold of ecostyler, my twist outs only last 2 days max. My question is, do you know of any other gels that won't flake as much? For reference, I use the 'TGIN Buttercream daily moisturizer' as a leave in.

Been natural for 4 year and the pass 2 year my hair have made no progress. I’ve tried your hair wash routine and your twist out routine and I’m in love with my curls. I am 3c/4a and some of your routine I love doing on my hair. It have made it easier to do, manage and love my hair. So hopefully it will help my hair retain its length and grow.
