It's amazing how close the Wii version is to the PS3/X360 versions, they managed to put the exact same game with the same content on the Wii with just a few graphical downgrades (and even with the downgrades this game is still beautiful on the Wii, I would even say what it is the most beautiful Spider-Man game on the console) It's a shame that the following games haven't maintained the same level of quality on the Wii, Edge of Time is still the same version of the other consoles on the Wii but in terms of graphics it loses a lot compared to this game, The Amazing Spiderman on the Wii has horrible graphics and it's just a port of the 3DS version, it's pretty disappointing. At least Nintendo fans had a great version of what I would say is one of the best Spiderman games.

Im assuming its a whole new build of the game specifically for the wii. This is very noticeable on the first level as the buildings in the wii version has a different building geometry. If it was just a downgraded port of the same game it would share assets just in lower quality but thats not the case here. Crazy they had to essentially build a whole new game thats exactly the same game as its counter parts specifically for just one console. Id understand if it was built for both wii and ps2 like spiderman 3 and many other ganes at the time but this was just for the wii.

What makes the Wii version hold up to this day, even when compared to the more powerful versions of the game, is the art direction of the game. The Ultimate and the Amazing dimensions looking somewhat like a comic, and the Noir dimension being so dark helps a lot to cover the limitations of the console. That's why the 2099 dimension look the worst, because it is the one that looks the most "realistic" That's also the reason of why Edge of Time looks far worse than Shattered Dimensions on the Wii. The game was meant to look more realistic

The art direction of this game is so strongly good, love that mix of comic book cel-shaded with photorealism, there's nothing else like it that I'm aware of, game still looks neat thanks to that
