You should have a buddy day to teach some of the less vault hunters "savvy" members. ( not just talking about you but all the hermits, that are proficient in the pack )- can include how to properly use jewels quickly traverse the vault etc....

You could replace the cakes with cupcakes after you reach like 100 cakes in a cake vault to increase the difficulty, because they are harder to spot because if their smaller size

I believe it's from adding dye to a blank rune, then adding the coloured rune to the tool (all in the anvil)

@samszczepanski2281 makes sense. it's more of a scavanger hunt than scav vaults are. You spend more time looking for cake than actually looting until the mobs hurt too much. Still hope it has a risk vs. reward element, tho.

If I may suggest, it may be wise to keep all of your vault-ing supplies inside of your main backpack so that if you forget to switch your loadout before entering a vault, you could quickly switch it.

Food for thought; Load up on regret flasks for each of the hunter specs, so you can reset in between vaults, and pivot to according hunter spec once you load in.
