First of all, it was cloned monogamy within the confines of marriage. He made copies of himself. He rescued those 16000+ Gopis from a demon and people were unwilling to marry them. So they requested Krishna to marry them. There was ZERO lust in all his relationships. It was pure and true love and affection. Secondly, Rukmini was 16. It's easily verifiable.
