I heard so many nice points in this class, envy seems to be a topic that devotees like to ask questions on. Here is something are some points: A devotee's quality: Vaisesika Prabhu quoted HH Radhanatha Swami Maharaj on devotees having the quality of the salt and Vaisesika prabhu further explained further the quality of a saintly person is like the salt, it doesn’t advertise itself, but it enhances the food, it stays at the background and it strikes a balance, for without it, the preparation is ruined. So similarly devotees they merge into the devotional services that they do. What is envy: Envy is the omnibus quality - in that contains the other bad qualities: Sajjana Tosani : lust, anger, greed, pride, illusion are included (envy) Sajjana Tosani: to become happy by seeing others distressed and to become distressed by seeing others happy - envy *Queen Kunti prayers: one of the aspects of performing devotional services, is to appreciate the good qualities of other devotees, and by doing so we can take it on.
