Shalimar was originally a terminal for goods trains only. Coromondel Express when it was started had only 4 stops between Howrah and Madras - Kharagpur , Bhubaneshwar , Vishakapatnam and Vijayawada.

Coromondal express is few of the original and rare superfast train of indian railways..which along with passing of time has maintained its glory..otherwise we have seen what has railways has done with pushpak,gitanjali,kanrnavati,gomati,shane punjab,poorva,himgiri,g.t,northeast expresss ...the original superfast trains of india..now just glorified express trains...sad but true

1 thing to add on about The Khadagpur Railway station that The Legend MS Dhoni use to work there for almost 4 years as TTE during 2001 to 2004. This station's name always reminds me of that fact.
