Calling it this might go down as one of the greatest machines of all time. You've brought back so much more enthusiasm to the culture

This box is amazing. So much functionality for one device. I love how much thought they are putting into this instrument. Thanks.

I've been using samplers for 26 years now and recently got my 2400....I adore this mode and the way it's laid out. It has sparked the teenage creativity in me that I thought I lost years ago. Truly amazing machine.
@tennisgenius4 жыл бұрын
Brad you GOTTA stop giving yourself so much flak man, you're nice with it. You make better music as a hobbyist than like 70% of the dudes I see posting to facebook. The 2400 is legitimately going to go down as one of the most legendary samplers EVER made and you're proof of that both as an engineer and as a musician. Excited for more and more updates as release day approaches!!!!!!!!

Can't wait. Few software requests if possible. Shift or Nudge notes early/late off of the grid like the MPC. No quantization. And Loop/Slice up to 32 using the banks a-d

Is it possible to use the looper without recording to a pre specified tempo? Meaning, if I was to beatbox at my own tempo without a click and record it would the s2400 be able to loop it and work out what the tempo is even if it's something strange like 93.6 etc?

Brilliant! I love the vocals.
@VJFranzK4 жыл бұрын
Great progress! 💿🎵 so glad this will be in the machine from the beginning (eventually I would love to have multiple loop bar lengths as on 505, and to be able to set a track on any bank to be a looper)
@Non-dw5lu4 жыл бұрын
please yes! to varying loop lengths and optimally set on the fly by starting and stopping recording rather than having to determine length before recording. Dig that workflow! peace n gratitude for what is already wondrous kit

A great feature would be to replicate the loop functionality of the rc505 where you can have record running but where it is overwriting rather than overdubbing. This allows for “jamming” a loop and then just stopping it when you feel you got the last 4 bars or whatever on lock.

Theoretically speaking I could split my main stereo out from my gear into this box. Capture and live loop a moment from the jam --- stop the jam while the S2400 continues (hopefully at same gain level which is my responsibility of course) -- and do crazy filter sweeps, flanging, chorus, delay feedback etc. via my arsenal of outboard effects --- stop the S2400 and start jam back in the form of a MASSIVE DROP. I like it. 😅👍

Starting to look like the Deluge. Tons of features in a single box, jam-packed with fun and experimentation. I bought and sold a deluge, then bought it again caus ei knew i was missing something. This just might be a buy and keep.
@mvsr9904 жыл бұрын
Like a Deluge but way more comprehensible (to me) in use (from what I can tell).
@hasan77864 жыл бұрын
@@mvsr990 Touché. Thats what I thought until I learned it, now its more intuitive than my akai force with tons of steps and clicks. when you have a synth, sampler, step grid, audio clips, time stretching, sampler player with key zones, wave editor, arranger, clip launching, midi hosting, cv/gate, sidechain and automation and sample streamig. You sort of force yourself to understand how to do it all. But yeah, the screen kind of sucks.

Will 32 voices be in the final software? Would love to be able to use all 32 voices or pads in a sequence. Not that producers use that many sounds in a song but it would nice to have the option.

I'm a bit worried about too much being added. Usually there is a sacrifice somewhere when a machine is able to do too much and depends on firmware updates. I'm hoping the MAIN focus on this machine is what made people love the original in the 1st place and will not have to depend on firmware updates. But the added features do seem pretty dope. But please let's not turn this into too much of a computer
