I understand your emmotional response, but fear isn't what keeps him from it and to suggest so is disingenuous at best. He is focused on his father's legacy, just as the Gracie family is focused on their father's and grandfathers legacy. Sambo and jujitsu are just different and that's a good thing. Iron strengthens iron. There's no need to speak dishonorably of someone whom has done nothing to you or the sport. Khabib has been a fantastic representative of Sambo and MMA. We all love jujitsu, but it's two different worlds. Even John Danaher suggested Gordon Ryan should leave MMA alone. Ryan isn't afraid of anyone, he's just smart enough to focus on his legacy and what he brings to jujitsu. Maybe someday we'll see them working together, the way Ryan has worked with some MMA fighters. ✌🏼
