And for years people saying Khabib isn't the best of all times, exactly because of that reason, that he hasn't fought the best (which I disagree) compared to GSP. We can make that argument until he got the title for sure, exceptions are RDA and Barboza. But if you compare what kind if Guys RDA fought in his carrier or what kind of guys Tony fought and actually beat, it's tougher compared to Khabib's opponent list UNTIL he fought for the title. And I'm saying this as one of the biggest Khabib supporter! Islam has to beat a few top guys from the division first, two have been checked as he was a title contender, Dan Hooker ✔ and Arman Tsarukyan ✔ (his toughest fight, although Arman is not among Top 5) and now 1st for the title, Charles ✔. Let him defend 4-5 times against top guys, then we can have the discussion

Title defence wise, Yes but many of his initial performances were EPO enabled. He was caught and Banned. Then after USADA days he started becoming not-so-good and even almost lost his last UFC fight and suddenly decided to vacate his belt to move to heavyweight and he is out from 2 years. I think he got scared that he may start losing the fights now so he quit on him with an excuse. Same thing can be said about Khabib bit remember, Khabib had a really big reason to retire. His Father died He also said that his mother asked not to fight anymore and he asked for her permission to fight jist the last time so he can retire officially in the octagon where he belonged. Some say that he was afraid of Charles but it's not true for 2 reasons. 1. Charles wasn't even famous at that time because he had not fought Tony and other 3 opponents. Nobody knew Charles except for few hardcore MMA fans. Casual did not even know who this guy was. Only after he beat Tony, He got famous and then won the belt and got more famous. Khabib was retired way back and that time there was no one left in top 5 who was looking like they stand a chance against him. Now that Islam beat him easily, we can safely say that Khabib was not afraid of this guy at all. 2. He alse had a plan to retire to give Makhachev his chance at the belt and He had a plan to retire after 30-0 if his father didn't die at that time. So he was anyways going to reture for Makhachev after a super GSP fight.

Islam is too good for the UFC, I don't care what anyone says. But there's something nobody wants to mention. He literally said that Jiu-jitsu ain't sh * t. Not only did he say it, but he proved it. Why is nobody from the grappling community- these world class submission underground dudes calling him out? This is what the world needs to see. His sambo skills are so high that literally nobody in the UFC is able to do anything against him. I think such contests will do massive numbers. Khabib basically said out of his mouth that if sambo was easy, it'd be called Jiu-jitsu.

Sambo includes strikes and wrestling therefore in a pure grappling match bjj is superior but for mma where you have to take them down sambo is superior in my opinion, especially as ground and pound can be used to gain positions

If ur short it's easy to take down someone taller

The taller you are the easier it is to take you down, because the higher the center of gravity is of a person or thing, the less stable they become. But on the other hand, once on the ground, the shorter person is usually easier to be controlled by the bigger grappler, and the shorter you and your limbs are the harder it is for you to be a submissionthreat, especially if your fighting an elite grappler and a submission artist.
