I became Muslim back in March, alhamdulillah! I was never religious, believed that they were all the same. I would say that Islam found me. I’m aware that Islam isn’t just a religion, it’s a way of life. Islam guides you from the moment you wake up in the morning until you go to sleep at night. I also became aware that all the problems going on in society today can be resolved through Islam ☪️ since accepting Islam, I’ve given up drinking, which I never thought I’d do. Praying 5 times a day helps keep my connection with the creator. It’s gotten me to realize that a woman has way more to offer than sex, and to look away if I find her appealing. Things feel way more clear than they ever have before and I must thank Allah for guiding me.

Just two weeks ago in South Africa a pastor of a large Christian church dreamt about Islam and one day he came to his church and converted the 100,000 church congregation. He made his first Hajj to Mecca immediately. Islam is definitely the fastest growing religion on earth and definitely a solution to humanity. What about trinity? 1 in 3, 3 in 1? So confusing. Islam is plain is simple. Worship one God alone, and believe in his prophets through Adam until Muhammad. Follow example and teaching of these prophets and you are considered a muslim even if you haven't take the shahada yet. @@st_cnncomes Dear sr_cnncomes, the reason which made me come to such a decision was the fact that being born and raised in a Christian-majority country (Brazil), I got wondered with some questions which had not got answered by the Church (specially the Catholic one). After having some doubts I got to go to the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, where not only the doubts increased, specillay those related to the nature of the so-called Trinity, but also I got to have contact with the Islamic Doctrine at the religion classes, that were obligatory regardless the fact that I was majoring in Law Studies. Anyway... This was the starting point. From there I went on to engage in comparative theological studies and then decided to move on onto being a revert to Islam (or a "new-born muslim", as some evangelical worshipers might prefer such terminology 😎 ) . In total, there were approximately 124,000 Prophet and Messengers that were sent to every nation of old. Out of the 124,000, 315 were Messengers. Not all Prophets are Messengers, but all Messengers are Prophets. Messengers receive revelation, laws from God. Prophets affirm the Message, and serve as a reminder.

God communicated with humans from the very beginning of the creation. The revelations given by God to Adam, Cain & Able, Enoch, Noah , Abraham , Isaac and Jacob are all recorded in the bible through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to Moses in around 1500 BC. Since Moses in 1500 BC till Prophet Malachi in 400 BC , God continued His revelations , which is basically recorded in the Jewish scriptures called the Old Covenant. The core promise of God in the OT is the coming of the Messiah who will introduce a New Covenant and establish kingdom of God on Earth. The New covenant God promised would be the writing of His commandment on the hearts of men and filling them by the Holy Spirit of God which will enable them to keep the commandments of God in righteousness. Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah- 32not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, [h]though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. 33But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their [i]hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. Ezekiel 36 The revelations of God again started coming from the advent of the Lord Jesus the Christ or the Messiah. This continued in the first century and was sealed by the last book "Revelation" towards the close of the first century. Everything God had to say was given and the Holy Spirit indwelt in the people who accepted and acknowledged the Messiah in faith. The Holy Spirit guides the believers of Jesus in the righteousness of God. Now comes Mohammad in the seventh century. He wipes out all the revelations God gave in the previous many centuries claiming that men have corrupted the word of God. It was a statement without providing any evidence. He built his narrative taking the names of the previous prophets and men of God , manipulated their sayings, redefined the major events and disdained the mission and works of the all important Messiah, the cornerstone of God's provision for the world. Grace of God was replaced by works and new commandments were inserted to keep the fallen human race making endless effort to reach the righteousness of God. The doctrinal stand he took was totally out of line of the previous scriptures. Though he claimed that he is can be found in the previous scriptures, to assert his authority but on scrutiny of the previous scriptures, his claims does not stand in anyway. Muslims keep searching previous scriptures to locate him but he is nowhere there. How to reconcile the variation in the two entirely opposite doctrines. Quran comes up with a doctrine that the previous scriptures were corrupted and the exact word of God is what Mohammad received. This doctrine keeps the Muslims away from the priceless revelations of God which lead the way to salvation, deliverance of sinful nature inherited from Adam and enjoining a vibrant relationship with God for all eternity. The question arises as to who wants to lead humans away from God. Without doubt, it is the Devil. I am fully convinced that he is the source of Islam. I am more convinced when I see the fruits of Islam. I am more and more convinced when I see the state of hundred percent Islamic countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Sudan and many other such nations.

So did Jesus' earliest followers consider him to be God? EHRMAN: Well, what I argue in the book is that during his lifetime, Jesus himself didn't call himself God and didn't consider himself God and that none of his disciples had any inkling at all that he was God. The way it works is that you do find Jesus calling himself God in the Gospel of John, our last Gospel. Jesus says things like: Before Abraham was, I am, and I and the father are one, and if you've seen me, you've see the father. These are all statements that you find only in the Gospel of John, and that's striking because we have earlier Gospels, and we have the writings of Paul, and in none of them is there any indication that Jesus said such things about him. I think it's completely implausible that Matthew, Mark and Luke would not mention that Jesus called himself God if that's what he was declaring about himself. That would be a rather important point to make. So this is not an unusual view among scholars. It's simply the view that the Gospel of John is providing a theological understand of Jesus that is not what was historically accurate. GROSS: Jesus was referred to as the king of the Jews. Did he call himself that, and what did that mean it is time? Do we know? Can we have any idea what that meant in its time? EHRMAN: Yeah, we do know, and actually to be a king of the Jews simply meant literally, being the king over Israel. It is a very difficult question to get to, what Jesus taught about himself because of the nature of our gospels, but one thing is relatively certain, that that the reason the Romans crucified Jesus was precisely because he was calling himself the king of Israel. Now, Jesus obviously was not the king. So what might he have meant by it? And in this kingdom, Jesus appears to have thought that he himself would be the future king. And so Jesus meant this not in the regular political sense but in a kind of apocalyptic sense, that at the end of the age, this is what was going to happen: he was going to be installed as king. GROSS: So Jesus saw himself as the messiah. What else did that mean in its time? EHRMAN: Well, a lot of Christians today have a wrong idea about what the messiah was supposed to be. The word messiah is a Hebrew word that literally means the anointed one. This was used in reference to the kings of Israel. The ancient kings of Israel, when they became king during the coronation ceremony, would have oil poured on their head as a sign of divine favor. And so the king of Israel was called God's anointed one, the messiah. There came a point at which there was no longer a king ruling Israel, and some Jewish thinkers began to maintain that there would be a future king of Israel, a future anointed one, and they called that one the messiah. And so the messiah for most Jews simply referred to the future king of Israel. And so when Jesus told his disciples that he himself was the messiah, he was saying that in the future, when God establishes the kingdom once more, I myself will be the king of that kingdom. And so it's not that the messiah was supposed to be God. The messiah was not supposed to be God. The messiah was a human being who would be the future king, and that's probably what Jesus taught his disciples that he was... First i find it exiting to hear that Islam, my beloved religion is the fastest growing religion in the united states and indeed all over the world. More exiting is the fact that most of the converts took their decisions willingly and on the basis of rational facts that were unambiguously verified by them. This is a critical development for the Islamic faith. This development will gradually have a major impact on international politics and the existing world order. Soon, if it has not already started, decisions on critical matters that affects the global population shall be done with the clear sensitivity of the Islamic faith and the muslim faithfuls. By this development, the philosophy, principles and teachings of Islam will become central in such decisions. To my mind, this development will bring about greater understanding amongst the christian and muslim faithfuls. The reason being that most of the new converts to Islam were hitherto christians and thus, are not ignorant of the values of the two faiths. I believe it will bring greater harmony and peaceful co-existence globally.

Life is in essence about balance and no religion teaches more about balance....in fact the day of judgement is about balance and the restoration of that balance...as Muslims we are made aware of this through the Quran and through observing human behaviour. Being Muslim means to know the truth that God has revealed to humanity...the more of that truth we know the greater the caveat...which means we must find the courage to follow that truth...and that is our battle each and everyday,...it is humbling listening to a Christian say the things he has about Islam...but it's something we,ve known since the very beginning ,because we have been told this ...that Islam will enter every home one-day...as a Muslim I take great comfort seeing soany christians enter Islam ,they are a good and decent people and many amaze me with their conduct and character....Many have done so by their own free will,recognizing Islam's truth and God's favour upon humanity.... Thank you for the video. I’m a technical guy, electronics, so not an expert of theology by any stretch of imagination. What I recently came to realize that believing in “metaphysics” is a personal thing, and it happens though “heart and soul” and not mind and logical, “western scientific” thinking. When its the matter of metaphysics, we can only talk about “The Truth”, which is existence of Allah/God, and His attributes of infiniteness in every dimension we can imagine or not imagine. and the ease of His creation. The point I’m trying yo make is, the reason for people deciding to become muslim has nothing to do with societies, religions, governance, people, jobs, modernity, times, problems etc, the reason is the clear messages in Quran that talk repeatedly about what metaphysics mean, what human means, ego, intellect, heart, soul, how they are related, and how repeated remembrance of Allah leads to being “nice, loving people”, who Allah loves too 🙏
