hijab is not an obligation in islam. We know in france the danger that can represent a religion because we had 3 centuries of wars. Most of french muslims are not salafists and thats the difference with UK. You allow salafists to do go down the streets with isis flag and do charia police... that could not be possible in france. Problem is salafism in all europe.
