Actually there wEre such verses and their mention is part and parcel of the Arabic para-Islamic tradition : they are called the Satanic verses where non-Islamic deities such as el Üzza, pretending to be Allah's daughter, do intervene to fool the prophet and laugh at his gullibility. Can you imagine that we have professors and PHDs who are Muslims and are propagating this religion. Whether the the Quran has been perfectly preserved or not, the truth is that the Allah of the Quran and the God of the Bible are not the same. They are contrary. Therefore, it is either both of them are wrong or one of them is wrong and the other true. Elijah said; "the God that answers by fire He is the LORD". From my simple understanding, the God of the Bible is the true LORD of all. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Whoever contradicts that is a LIAR. The Allah of the Quran contradicts it.

I’ve been born again as of Nov. 2018. I always believed in God and became a lukewarm Christian over time. I did shrooms, drank, but mostly smoked pot everyday. I look back and can’t believe how patient Jesus has been waiting for me (I’m 40). I have been saved by an angel or Jesus (not sure at the time) at least twice, but possibly 3 times. A voice told me to let off the gas pedal when I was going through an intersection, as soon as I did, a truck blew a stop sign that would have killed me. I also fell asleep at the wheel another time and WOKE up while driving sitting upright and very much positioned like a robot. I ended up on the other side of town somehow! Fell into a pool’s deep end as a child, somehow my mother knew to check on me and pulled me out. I had another experience where I was praying about a relative that was brutally murdered and burned alive years prior. I was HIT like a sledgehammer with unexplainable peace and joy. Instantly tears poured out of my eyes and I had the breath sucked out of me, totally winded. It was like I was experiencing the joy of heaven but my human body could not handle it! I also experienced an interaction with several demons in the basement of a psychic lady’s house who summoned them and spoke to them nightly. The fear and anger I felt as their eyes pierced my soul was like nothing of this earth......,over and over and over Jesus was calling me!!! I was too much of a fool to notice, even though I believed in Him! In November of 2018, after a minor argument with my fiancée, I heard a demon’s voice talk to me telepathically in my mind- “I hate you, I’ll kill you and tear your family apart.” With the most conviction in my soul I commanded that thing to leave my house in the name of Jesus Christ. Every room in the house I yelled at it. I felt our Lord blast through my house and beat those things down! Whoosh gone! I prayed and thanked him and repented for allowing them to get close to me. He talked to me telepathically asking me questions and made me feel the guilt of my sins. Lots of information as a sort of psychic download into my heart and mind simultaneously. Question 1: “After all I’ve done for you, what have you done for Me, and others?” Question 2: “Am I NOT enough for you?” Then, the weight of my sins lifted, it was incredible. Since that moment, I’ve had no desire to drink, smoke, blaspheme, masterbate, be angry, stressed out or sin at all. Wanting to share love with no other possible explanation. I notice the tiniest signs he puts in my path....I see them right away and chuckle, seeing He really does work in mysterious ways. I fully understand how to have a relationship with him and not need to physically see or hear our relationship. He is incredible people! Let him into your heart! I had felt in my soul the the extremes of joy and sorrow through just some of my life experiences..... Feeling the presence of God and Satan deep inside through strange encounters. For that, I am blessed to KNOW Christianity is the truth, yet I STILL tried to not fully commit. He wants us all to repent and accept Him. He actually told me this! Don’t think you can sin all your life and God will be OK with it. He really will reward you if you follow with all your heart!! And Mohammed of course led by example when he raped a 9 year old little girl. - Islam teaches that it is OK for a husband to beat his wife (Surah 4:34) which is evil. - Islam teaches that it is OK to use women captured in war to be used and sold as sex slaves (Surah 33:50) which evil. - Islam teaches that Christians and Jews must be fought until they have been killed (murdered) unless they submit to Islam and agree to be oppressed second class citizens in the own country (Surah 9:29) which is evil. - And the witness of a women is worth only half of that of a man. (Surah 2:282). That is an insult to all women. Lets see what Jesus said: - Jesus teaches in John 14:6 English Standard Version » 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. « So who needs Mohammed and his allah? Logically no-one, especially as Mohammed does not explain how anyone gets to heaven following what he recited or how he lived.

But sarcasm is prone to being misunderstood unless you explicitly mention that you're sarcastic :D By the way, to add clarity, I add that the technical term for those "punctuation marks" is "diacritical marks" or "diacritics", and the technical term for the Arabic of the earliest Qur'ans, which lack those marks, is "Rasm." I intend to one day read the Qur'an as if it has no diacritics and see how well I can interpret it as a cookbook or something because it'd establish just how interpretable the Rasm text of the Qur'an was before diacritics were added.

I genuinely appreciate the gentler approach that is being taken here. I think Al Fadi can especially understand the feeling of how revered the book and the man are. Im a former Muslim myself, and these are things that are so sacred to Muslims that it is important to approach it with good manners. Especially since Islamic teaching is that Muhammad insisted that dialog with ahl Al Kitab be done with the best adab or manners. Personally i think the man Muslims follow did not exist and is a bit of a composite of several teachers and syncretic quasi Monophysite christian heresy carried forth in time, but it is sacred to them and by being respectful and gentle is a great way to deal with something that is genuinely shocking to a Muslim.

That abu dawood hadith you quoted about companions dying in the battel of yamamah and quran being lost is classed as inauthentic by many scholars. Reason for the narration to be inauthentic is: If you look at the chain of transmission of this report, it has an unreliable narrator Yunus ibn Yazeed known for making major mistakes, Furthermore, the chain also has a gap, which means we do not know who transmitted it during this gap. As for the argumnet that the companions dying in the battle of Yamaha and the verses being lost with them, let's say that was the case for argument sake, do you think that none of those who did not attend the battle or didn't die in the battle haven't memorize the quran from the first chapter to the last? How about people like Zaid in Thabit who memorized the entire quran and didn't die in the battle? What do you say tho that! This just shows how low you are willing to go to attack islam and deceive your audience with inauthentic text while knowing the truth of the matter. There are also authentic and reliable sources that testify that all Qur‟anic passages were written down during the Prophet‟s time (hence before the battle of yamamah) each time they were revealed (see Musnad Ahmad, Volume 1, page 92, no. 401 & Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 3, no. 785), hence there existed no verses of the Qur‟an without a written counter-part. So please stop spreading lies ! Allah says in the Quran in chapter 9. V 32 - 33 "They wish to extinguish Allah’s light with their mouths, but Allah will only allow His light to be perfected, even to the dismay of the disbelievers. He is the One Who has sent His Messenger with ˹true˺ guidance and the religion of truth, making it prevail over all others, even to the dismay of the polytheists." So islam will prevail whether you like it or not. For example, Here in Canada many churches have been deserted and many Christians are turning to atheisim, as a result Muslims are buying the churches and using them as mosques!

It does not make a sense that there were verses that were gone because Allah s.w.t stated it already in the quran that he will do it and then make the quran uncorrupted after it, he did it to show us that he is capable of everything. If We ever abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten, We replace it with a better or similar one. Do you not know that Allah is Most Capable of everything? (quran 2:106)
