I went for evening prayers and on both prayers for some unknown reasons imam recited verses from Quran mentioning this world is the place of trials and tribulations and those who are patient, they will have a high reward near Allah. All verses ended with reminding rewards in the akhira. As if it was talking to me. It was like a therapy session for me. Subhanallah. Btb where are you in Brazil?

God has no sons. The meaning of the term “Son of God” in the Old and New Testament. In the Bible, the term “Son of God” means a righteous servant of God. It does not mean literally divine son of God. The Oxford Dictionary of the Jewish Religion confirms that in Jewish idiom “Son of God” is clearly metaphorical. In previous Scriptures, pious believers were called “sons of God.” It was not only Jesus who was “son of God” in the bible; other Prophets were also called “son of God.” For example: David: Psalm 2:7. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Solomon: 2 Samuel 7:13-14. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son.
