Not once they said anything against Allah, so, how did they challenge Allah? This is a wrong Title and spreading wrong information. Now, regarding Punishment, Muslim Preacher Ahmed Deedat was punished for 9 years with Paralysis, he used to shit and pee on himself for insulting and mocking Gods of other religion. All the Gods of other religions punished him for 9 torturing years and your Allah couldn't do anything to save him. Why didn't your Allah save him from other God's punishment?
