JZK. Mashallah. The interview could've been managed better IMHO. If I were her, leaving my work for a day to do this interview, I would've thought you'd ask more and better questions. Sister is brilliant and all Mashallah, but I believe most people watching would've been more interested in how the business is managed, what challenges she's faced, how she manages the financials, the logistics, etc. more than the personal life questions, or the questions about the other people taking the course with her. I'd certainly love to know more, and get more content like this, but would want more focus on the business and finances.

New subscriber. 3rd video watching as I enjoy the range of topics. However, some feedback if you may. Please do not take it personally... !. The questions are rudimentary at worst and lazy at best. There's a wealth of experiences and knowledge which could be revealed, but with the right set of questions 2. Incorporate a more deeni angle into the discussions. 3. In traditional family units, where the woman is not able to go out and earn money, it would be unfair for her not to receive a share of the matrimonial assets on separation, especially when she has contributed to marriage in other ways ie taking care of the house, raising children. If the woman didn't stay at home to raise the children, the couple would need to pay someone to do it. If both parties are making their own earnings, it's easier to keep finances separate. I don't think it is fair to portray a woman negatively if she wants or needs a share of the matrimonial assets which the husband has accumulated on a separation. Allahumdullah in the UK the courts understand this.

In the scenario of a divorce, Islamically, a Muslim woman does have some entitlements to money etc When you can please research نفقة المتعة However it is not as straight forward as western law where it is generally straight up 50% The following is taken into consideration: length of marriage/reason for divorce/ financial circumstances of both parties

This is what feminist have encouraged and I support it. Its about women taking control of their life and doing things that make them happy instead of doing what everyone else wants them to do. Feminists have worked hard to change the perception that women shouldn't do anything but work in the home. They made this progress where women have the confidence and resources to be able to do amazing work like this sister. Without feminists and the work they have done women would struggle to have resources, access and support

Although this interview setup itself is problematic where sister is directly sitting in-front of a guy, but setting a side this issue, earning money through online trading has problems as well, it is better to consult with scholars first before jumping into these businesses. And Allah knows best.

Men chase careers and jobs too, not just to feed their family but because it is their desire. The woman can also have desire to work and it should be encouraged for women to do what they believe is best for them: to have a job or not. Why do we feel the need to restrict what is halal for women. Looking after the home and children is a responsibility of both the husband and wife but the whole burden is placed on women which is awful for their mental health. I would be depressed being a housewife because I have seen my mother and other women in my life and I do not want that
@solomonkzarka4045
@solomonkzarka4045 Жыл бұрын
@@peaceout6359 For men who desire jobs/career are encouraged you want women to be encouraged at the same level, why because we are the same? You need to understand whether or not he desires it, he must do it to be even considered a man he must provide otherwise society deems him less than nothing. There is no option, read the quran and you will see. Rijal qayam ala nisa. Not Dhakr which means male in arabic, it says rijal which means men. Men are guardians over women, that's not a request, it is and will be. And the way I see it, if a man will not provide for the women under his care. He is not man and will suffer the consequences in this life or the next or both. We don't have the choice, so while we are out trying to source an income from said job/career, who raises the child? The state?, a random child minder who you will pay part of your salary to do your job for you? Who will breast feed the child till the recommended age mentioned in the quran of 2 full years? Men do have have small amounts of mammary glands in their chest but they don't lactate. A job or career for women is not mandatory, which is why it is not encouraged in the same way. You think that's a bad thing, it's simply practical. You don't do things that are not necessary. You usually make sure you do the things that are of most importance first the rest can come later if you have space in your life for it. Which for women is being dutiful to their husband and sometimes that is by looking after children, nursing them till 2 years old, teaching them islam and obeying him so long as he does not ask you to do anything against allah or his prophet peace be upon him. If she manages to make some serious cash from home, not mixing with men and putting herself in questionable situations. Alhamdulilah may allah reward her and give her a husband who will not try to exploit or share her money. Men who split rent or other utilities for example disgust me, they should be paying for everything even if she earns more. May Allah guide those men aswell.
@Mohammed-bz8lt
@Mohammed-bz8lt 10 ай бұрын
@peaceout6359 our religion and way of life is our guide. Not the desires of men or women. If a man chases a career, its fine and halal as long as he is not neglecting his duty to his family. Both care for the children but you must know that Allah in his infinite wisdom placed the responsibility solely on the man to provide. Similarly he placed the primary role of the women, to take care of their husbands household and children. There is a narration where the prophet (peace be upon him) gave a metaphor of a shepherd and his flock explaining this point. The point is a women can work but as long as it doesn't mean neglecting her duties to serving her husband and being the mother of the household. This was the backbone and still is for most of society. You mention mental health issues based on your families experience but sister that is not because of the duties Allah has required of us. There could be thousands of reasons for this; maybe its because of your individual circumstances, maybe your family were living isolated from other family, in a bad community, maybe your culture damaged relationships, maybe your parents did not know how to love or had personal flaws etc etc Whatever the case ( we all have them). Allah has made it clear what is best for both men and women within marriage. It's wrong to say a women decides what's best for her (or even a man). It's Allah and his messenger that have given us some guidance on this. As for mental health what is remarkable is despite the previous generations and the ones before them living lives way way more difficult than ours by any measure! And despite them generally being way more poorer than us. They had a level of mental fortitude, strength and resilience in hardship that is not at all present in our younger more Liberal generations. This is not just the case in Muslims but in wider society despite the increase in individual autonomy we see a increase in a feeling of isolation, depression, mental illness, anxiety etc in way we never did with previous generations. We are weak and indulgent, more prone to mental breakdowns and difficulties despite being the most privileged generation ever. Despite all of liberal mantras and the push from disbelievers to make women serve the economy of their state and corporate bosses rather than their family, we live in a time of greatest disunity among people of same nations, break down in marriage and family at a rate not seen before, and societies where there are hardly any children and generations growing up not knowing what real love, family, loyalty even is. People who grow up with out cousins, aunts, grand parents etc all because statically they have one child for the next gen (and everyone lives in isolated bubbles). The wisdom of Allah can never be grasped by humans but we can see the push to make men and women intermingle, jump to serve the workforce and pursue individual desires, has own increased the breakdown of any sense of the word community, family, and a increase in fahisha across the world. From this we can maybe understand some of the reasons why order Allah encouraged us towards is important. The breakdown of marriage, then family and then community is all linked to this Liberal agenda which only serves materialistically to a cold, greedy state. Primary responsibility to the home, does not mean living in isolation or a loveless marriage, or a lack of appreciation, those things that contribute to your feeling as well as all the western ideals we consume. That's not to say women can't work, again unless it's a need, women working can only be justified if it doesn't affect her duties towards her family.
