It's true, we have to forgive and forget every sin that anyone ever commit to us unless it involes the mocking and war againts islam and the prophet s.a.w. than we will fight till our last drop of bloods which is what the true definition of man in islam. We have to remember that Allah is NOT A HUMAN BEING! Allah's mercy is to such an extent that even if we choose not to forgive others for what they have done to us, Allah WILL FORGIVE the sins we do between us and HIM so long as we REPENT! This does not mean just because you choose not to forgive others for what they have done to you that Allah won't forgive you. Allah is DIFFERENT. Allah is the Most Merciful. Allah has granted us the flexibility of choice, that is why He is Awesome!! Praise be to Him may He forgive us Allah! However it is better for is if we do forgive.
