FYI: This episode was filmed a few hours before the ceasefire agreement had been secured between Gaza and Israel.

I don't comment much on YT videos, but I just want to comment to show my support to your organisation and this podcast. There aren't many podcasts I listen to, but this is actually one I do listen to from beginning to end. Amongst all of the news and info we receive on a daily basis, it helps me, as a Muslim, gather news from the Muslim perspective regarding Muslim news. And mashaAllah, you guys are doing a great job in presenting a conservative islamic approach and presenting an unapologetic islamic view on even controversial issues, esp on issues such as Muslims voting in unislamic democratic elections. I think that you guys and your organisation are a blessing to this ummah and are a massive asset to the Muslims living in Britain and across the globe. Would love to work with you guys lol, although I have no background in journalism haha. May Allah SWT preserve you guys and grant you guys and your entire organisation and everyone behind the scenes immense reward and may it weigh heavily on your scales on yawm ul qiyamah. Ameen.

I genuinely lost faith in Humanity. Gaza is a lifetime lesson for me, I use to read most of colonial genocide in Books as history lesson but to witness livestream genocide fully backed and supported by the West is something I never saw coming in 2024. Now I know what my ancestors went through😢 May Allah grant them Jannah 🙏

Has been looking forward to your broadcast. Thank you. On Syria, my thought is that if you are supporting Palestine those that are oppressed, it does not make sense that you support Assad has killed hundreds of thousands of his own people. Will Assad’s fall be detrimental to the Palestinian caused, I have faith that “they plot and plan, but Allah is the perfect planner”. May the Almighty unite the hearts of the Ummah globally.

Disavowing pro-Palestine activists like George Galloway and David Miller etc just because they supported Assad isn't fair. These individuals have spent their careers advocating for Palestine and against Zionism, and we shouldn’t expect non-Muslims to align perfectly with all Muslim morals, values and views. They’ve sacrificed their reputations for causes like Palestine. Now, just because of a small victory in Syria, disassociating from them doesn’t reflect the principles of gratitude and respect in Islam.
@HiTekNomaschenko17 күн бұрын
I disagree. These people have shown their true colours. They could have kept their opinions to themselves but instead decided to gaslight us and spread propaganda thst is no different than what the islamophobes spread. We do not need their support and advocacy for Palestine. A quarter of the world is Muslim, we do not need these charlatans slaves of Russia and China.

@Adam-kh9rb that's not it. DFW has the full spectrum of Muslims extreme Sufis to Salafis to Shia.. My question was around DFW Muslims are still practicing when doing well socioeconomically. I've got the answer, not sure the order it happened in. Many prominent scholars moved to the area, huge multi functional masaajid were built and beautiful estates/homes were built from the ground up.. they catalyst was the scholars...

I think Robert Carters is a few years out of date as regards Aafia Siddiqui, prisoner swap deal, with the Taliban. They were negotiating that in exchange for American Soldier Bowe Bergdahl, but according to Yvonne Ridley the Pakistanis subverted it...Yvonne Ridley who was involved has an article on the Middle East Monitor on this.

The grooming cases were ignored for decades in the UK was due to the fact the authorities refused to take the victims seriously because they were working class and ‘troubled’ girls, often in care of social services. The prevailing policy and guidelines in place up until 2011 discredited all victims of child SA as unreliable. This is so because most of the girls often returned back to the perpetrators and their evidence often were inconsistent. The fact that these girls were manipulated by older men using the ‘lover boy’ technique perfected by the Tate bothers. Also the girls stories often inconsistent bcos they were drugged and abused. It was a Muslim Crown Prosecution chief in 2011 who demanded to change these rules of prosecution and charged 9 men in 2012. By 2014 the highest conviction of groomers in UK history

UAE Islam?! First I've heard of this... Dr Bilal Phillips has been involved there for decades, MaShaAllah he does not comprise... I think Tate has cut a deal for ligther sentence in return for creating chaos. His friend Joules is extremely humble, prays and continues to learn the deen he has stayed silent on the Tate issue.

Re: Gaza. I think we are all relieved that there will Inshallah be some sort of ceasefire in Gaza and it’s right to recognise the brave resistance there has not been defeated - but to not recognise the contribution of the Lebanese resistance, the Iraqi resistance, Iran and particularly the Yemen axis - who have all contributed to this ceasefire is rather small-minded and sectarian of you inmho. If fact, the only place where Israel achieved a pain free victory was in Syria - thx to the ex-ISIS head choppers who have openly declared they want friendly relations with the Zionist entity. I say all this as a Sunni.

Good podcast as always, however I had this thought: “Assad … human rights abuses on a bigger scale than even Israel has committed” … this doesn’t sit well with me. This channel is seriously going off the rails and sadly becoming another echo chamber. Instead of bad mouthing people like GG and others, why not just get them on the show? Even Lowkey or Ali Abunimah from Electronic Intifada or even David Miller again. Whitewashing terrorists in Syria and saying Assad committed bigger crimes than Israel is wild. You 2 are usually logical and balanced in your opinions. Dilly, however, has always been irrationally and hypocritically sectarian.

He was a tyrant and a dictator just like every other Arab leader. There's no doubt his government committed crimes. That's obvious. But to say he was worse than Netanyahu is definitely a wild accusation. Funny there's no mention of the crimes of the rebels of which there are many. This binary mindset of Assad bad rebels good is childish
