In Hindu scriptures there is another statement: Ekam Satyam. It means there is nothing else but God. That signifies that men (jivatma, human soul) have come from God (Paramatma , Supreme Soul) only. The true identity of Dr. Zakir Naik is not the body and mind of him but the formless soul of him behind the former. The limitations of jivatma are due to the actions of its body and mind. Once through penance when a man attains the level of super consciousness and cosmic consciousness, he is said to have become one with God consciousness. In that case, there is no contradiction in calling him god (if not GOD). While the followers of Sanatan dharma try to elevate their conscious from the base level ( mooladhara chakra) to the highest level (Sahasrara in the crown) through different types of austerities or tapas, the followers of Islam do not try to rise from the base level or the body level. While the Hindus endeavour to free themselves from the clutches of desires, the Muslims adamantly tries to seek fulfilment of desires so much so that they wish to indulge in physical and sexual pleasures even after death. Since, by virtue of dictats in Qu’ran and Hadis (especially due to their misinterpretation) Islam has become synonymous with cruelty, violence , and debasement, it cannot become an eternal religion and is therefore subject to its inevitable fall.

But every religion has their own way of prayers or worshiping, it’s all their faith in the God. Whether they worship an image or in any form. There’s one logic behind this, we are all human beings with similar shapes, but we ourselves formed into different religions with different ideologies and cultures, which is dividing the whole mankind. After all we are all human beings and we all trust and say God is only one by all religions. Even if we are in crisis we all help each other with humanity irrespective of religion. But when it comes to religion, we say my Jesus, my Allah , my Bhagwan etc., which are created by human race only, by not any other creatures are trees. If any animal was sacrificed it will not tell us my slaughter should be for this religion only ( sorry to say I should not bring the slaughter in this contest, just for clarification I had to mention) even trees never asked us religion while you’re plucking fruits or flowers. Zakir understood the supreme God but did not understand that God resides in each individaulal as his Aatma. Aatmas voice is moral instinct. Individuals with moral instinct realise the Dharma (Righteousness) values in symbols, idols, images, pictures etc. You have to worship these values and thus using idols to worship values and acquire them is a good thing.

😮You asked a very good and very important question, but the answer given by Dr Zakir is not quite right and clear. First of all one should understand that the "Word Allah" simply means God, If you read Indonesian Bible, everywhere the Word God comes, the Word Allah is used. Does that mean that Allah is the God of the Bible?. Secondly, " Allah means MOON GOD". Like Hindus worship SUN GOD the Ishmalites were worshipping Allah, meaning the " Moon God". In those days the "Ishmalites" were worshipping more than 360 Gods. And one of them was Allah. Then Mohammed started to teach " monotheism" wanted to give a name for God for the muslims and he picked up ALLAH which was more suitable and appealing. That is how Allah became the name for the god of muslims. That is why they follow crescent moon on their flag. There no evidence whatsoever to prove Allah is supreme almighty God.
