Bummer about the mic situation!! That’s one epic hike though, right? So great to meet you guys. Thanks again for all the fish - we haven’t had a snapper since 😅❤

Hi, Do you have a video on your sail selection for different wind conditions for your T37? Thank you.

No we don’t. We had a 106% genoa (burned in our shed fire), but now we only have a yankee jib, staysail, and mainsail. We have an asymmetrical spinnaker that was given to us, but we haven’t used it yet. For the most part, in light winds all sails are up except downwind we don’t use the staysail because it blankets the yankee. At 15 knots we put the first reef the main, but have yankee and staysail out. At 20 knots we double reef the main, roll in the yankee and just run it with the staysail. We haven’t sailed much above 25 knots sustained. I think the highest we’ve had is 32 knot gusts and we had the main double reefed and the staysail out.

What are you spraying into your wetsuit?

It’s called Slippy. It makes it easier to get into my wetsuit. It’s hypoallergenic and doesn’t leave a residue. It’s made by your fellow South African Robb Alllen
