We are doing a full transit on the Coral in December. Thank you for posting this series of video's. It's different from so many others who do advice, ship tours etc. This is a here is what we did with shore excursions and other fun stuff. Sly travel has made it onto our list of what to do in Costa Rica. Your excursion looked like a lot of fun.

Thank you so much for taking us along your excursion in Costa Rica! I’ve been waiting for this Vlog since you first mentioned that you were going to be on a cruise to the Panama Canal. My daughter and I did Panama Canal Cruise about 5 1/half years ago, and I think it might be my favorite cruise of all time, maybe Alaska, but close… we did an excursion on a boat through the rainforest and saw so many many amazing animals and birds! I’ve got hundreds of pictures of sloths, and monkeys - both howler monkeys, and capuchin. We actually saw at least half a dozen of the basilisk lizard. And of course, lots of birds. We only saw one crocodile. However, we didn’t get to see any McCalls. When we got off the boat, they had fresh pineapple and fresh bananas for us to sample. Closer to the port, we did get to eat some empanadas and have wonderful coffee! I’m looking forward to the rest of your cruise. (I’ll try not to post a wordy comment on each blog.🥴) Love how you travel ❤

Yes that is the LONG pier, you can swim at that beach at the port. At least you could when we were there in 2022. We were privileged to see Toucan's wild flying in Costa Rico and Macaws, our tour guide was SO excited pointing them out. I'll have to find what tour we did, it's stored somewhere in my cloud and I don't have access currently on this Mac. Costa Rico brewed fresh is SO good.

You two are sooo brave…I’d be scared of boat problems and ending up in that brown water with the crocs! Going to Alaska on. Cruise in August…hope we see whales from the ship…heard they can swim under boats and tip them..I know I’m way too chicken! Thanks for all the great videos!

I wish somebody would offer a 7-day cruise to them without the time and cost of a Panama Canal cruise. Would it be too far for r/t San Diego? Maybe run them out of a non-US port. Or do one way North/South cruises like they do in Alaska.
