Butlins Minehead Or Butlins Bognor Regis 2022 (Which Should You Choose?)

hello! For the past three years we have been to the Bognor Regis butlins and it was amazing. If you are thinking of going to the Bognor one again, try and book the shoreline hotel as it is next to the circus and shops. The rooms in the shoreline are also great!

Been going to Minehead Butlins for too many years to mention, stayed in bognor Shoreline hotel in the summer for the 1st time. Amazing loved it, rebooked for next summer. Being from the Welsh valleys Minehead so much closer so still using that one as a regular holiday and Bognor just once a year as a treat. Loved your video, hope you all well. We used to travel down to Bognor from London for our annual 2 week holiday in the 60s 70s and 80s, radio Butlin blasting into every chalet, great days. Went last about 15 years ago, we found that they’d almost wiped out all entertainment for adults, and it was all very much catered for kiddy’s, and it’s great for families, but not so much for just couples, glad you had a good few days 😀

minehead is a nice park ,my grandson loves the steam trains it's a man thing really I love railways but skegness is a lovley camp which is being refurbished so see what changes occur,it's my favourite ,but maybe I'm stuck in my ways cheers have a good trip home, stay safe guys

Thank you for your review. I always say if you can get there go to minehead lol. Im the opposite for travel to you bognor is my closest an hour 45 minutes away. Minehead is about 6 hours plus depending on traffic but it definitely has the outside camp factor for keeping busy. But then I love bognor for being so compact having a son with SEN it's easier to get about and out quickly if it becomes too much. I'm with you I don't think you would be disappointed whichever one you went to. You need to do Skegness now lol after they open the new rides. X

Mr Dudgie, the hotel in Minehead has 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom (one en-suite) rooms with a balcony over looking the beach, with a very big open plan lounge with big TV, dining area and fully fitted kitchen. So you get privacy if you want it, and a social area as well. They are not cheap, but for a bit of luxury are well worth the money.

We do skegness and Minehead both had great times at, Minehead really needs a new pool, we stayed in bayside at Minehead was lovely sitting on the balcony watching the sea going bk again next year 😊😊

A good friend of mine manages the fairground and it has improved a lot in recent years since he took over. The Wave Swinger and Mexican Hat (Trabant) look so much better than they did. The Waltzer is improving every year. Bognor itself is not a great town but the surrounding towns & cities like Chichester and Worthing are worth exploring next time.

It’s Minehead for us, mainly due to the fact it’s only 59 miles for us, no need to travel that far for the same entertainment, also Minehead town is so much more relaxed 👍

Try skegness Butlins it’s bigger, massive theme park around the corner aswell called fantasy island!

hi the dudgie family, glad you had a good holiday, I have been to the three butlins but haven't been to bognor since new pool has been there, I prefer Minehead even though it's the furthest away, I liked bognor even though the town is a bit rough, I also loved the ocean hotel xx

We are 3.5hrs away from both, and would say lately Bognor gets more money spent on it, and personally Bognor just shades it. We are booked to go back to Bognor in Feb half term but are also going to Minehead at Easter. I'd say check the cost as sometimes the price is very different for the same week (not sure why) and you can get a bargain. We paid £108 for a deluxe suite in Mineheas next Easter (Mon - Fri).

I've been going to bognor for.more than 30 years. Plus worked there. Wave hotel has apartments which has a kitchen. Shoreline is better for younger kids . As that's billy bears hotel. I have been to minehead. Would you ever try skegness ?? Hotham Park is great to chill out at across from the wave hotel at bognor. The town is 5 minutes away right down other.end.is prom with arcades as well

I was in same thought of you and Mrs D try a different resort and yes bognor on a smaller scale to minehead I agree but I enjoyed it the view from your room and I was on top floor at ocean with sea view and fair was great bognor did not have inn on the green like in minehead and high ropes deffently smaller then minehead and the shops in minehead down passage way are outside in bognor but I not sure which I book next year yes minehead closer but ocean Hotel cheaper then bayside apartments in minehead aka hotel I have a video of bayside apartments I stayed in last year but it was only for 2 people I'm sure they do a bigger apartment. And I thought splash in bognor looked bigger and the train from bognor to town is a £1 person each way me and my friend walked it was a nice walk but I also agree minehead beach is better and a better walk if you want to see my video of bayside Steve and Mrs D pm me and I send it to you glad you had a good break don't get lost or squashed and keep safe and speak more soon 🙌 👍🏼oh and still booking shows in advance and not enough time between them from centre stage and studio 36 not enough time to allow to get out and toilet stop at bognor was my down fall and price for a pint in bognor compared to last year in minehead
