The monorail and chairlift were simply the best attractions of the time. Still miss them so much. We had a different style of chairlift at Barry Island but the same great ride over the camp.

Love Minehead haven't been for 2 years now as I don't drive and so we go to Bognor as its nearer to us. But minehead is so lovely thank you for sharing with us. X

@@TheDudgies it's smaller than Minehead. Everything is nearby as its more compact a camp. but I like it like that. Minehead is best if you want to leave the camp and explore the surrounding towns. Bognor is nice just to use the camp and facilities. Not so much walking lol but all the same stuff. If that helped lol. X

That woman fighting the security guard 🤣🤣 it’s a family place how embarrassing 🙈 we went on the Monday after you left and all rides were up working again for us, but same the kiddies didn’t want to go on them. Do you guys have a favourite time of year to go to Butlin’s? We usually go may/June and we have done a Christmas there but thinking of trying a different time next year if you have any recommendations x

did hear that Minehead is due to have an upgrade for the pool. well done to the girls i couldn't do the zip wire. bad that a lot of rides wasnt working. oh they still doing that where u cant stay in one venue. the ed sheeran act sounded good.

It would be great to have an upgrade, we spend a lot of time at the pool. Thank you The girls were so brave, we're very proud. It was only that one time they asked us to leave, to clean up ready for Ed Sheeran act (it was brilliant 👍) you can stay in Reds all night 😎👍

I live in minehead and alot of my family have worked there so I've been so many time. That new attraction in the Skyline is Optimus Prime, he's replaced Titan this year, hoping to visit Minehead soon, we've not experienced this Butlins yet. 😊

Me and my mum are think of going to Butlins,how does it work,do you pay for your accommodations and have to pay extra for taking part in activities or you just pay for your accommodations and activities come with it? Also,did you feel that there was alot of activities that your kids and teens could do?(it looks like so,seems like you guys had alot of fun :)

The Fun Fair, Swimming & the shows are included in the price. Other activities are at an extra cost. Its a great holiday & Minehead is a lovely place to explore 👋😁

Thanks for the vlog guys, we are going next week so it's great to see what the place looks like and how things are running post covid. Last time I was in Minehead the monorail in that pic was still running, it used to stop over the outdoor lido which is where the skyline is now. We got stuck one year and the redcoats were throwing boiled sweets up at us 🤣 Genuinely looking forward to sharing my childhood memories with my own kids now. My little boy is 2.5 and he absolutely loves Ed Sheeran so hope he can stay awake to see it 🤞 Look forward to seeing Day 3. xx
