Very Good! I was wondering, what's the English speaking situation in Switzerland? I know French is almost an official language, but I'm curious about speaking English. Please let us know? Thanks.
@IslandHopperTV2 жыл бұрын
I think it’s more German, but most everyone shares English as a second universal language

In general, it would be cool to see cities in the USA in the same style. Not necessarily drawing inspiration specifically from the situation of this city, but in general! Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Spain!There is an opportunity to observe the Spanish architectural style in such states as California, Texas and Florida, but unfortunately this is so little. City mayors, as well as architectural bureaus, often focus on the post-industrial Art Nouveau style, but to be honest, it seems soulless to me. The same Chicago and New York! Majestic cities are undoubtedly so many opportunities to realize their potential, but such "soulless" streets. But all this was originally thought out as something individual, not like Europe, in general, during the development of the United States, the goal was always to overtake Europe, not to be like it. Healthy competition is always good, it is the key to success, but still, it seems to me, it is necessary to take some turn in favor of the European philosophy of arranging your life. But this is just my subjective opinion.As always, Jeff, you pleased us with new picturesque views of cities, introduced us to the situation inside and of course ran through various interesting shops and restaurants. And where without it!)

I agree with you about injecting some of the nice cultural architecture into cities. The USA must do better!
@ВасяБелый-д5ы2 жыл бұрын
@@IslandHopperTV ,Yes, everything is simple here. The main task is to acquaint US citizens with how to equip urbanism of cities "in a European way" so that they have something to compare with and what to start demanding from the mayor's office of their locality. In the USA, in fact, there is an "architectural code", the regulations from which cannot be deviated, although in fairness it differs in each city and even in the city district. But since we all pay taxes and quite a lot, then we should always demand the best for ourselves. (Although some of my friends do not disdain unfair tax write-offs through their accountants, but these are units).

The Living God loves you so very much! He sent His Holy Son Jesus to earth, to be born of a virgin, and to grow up and die on the cross to take our sins away. He is the Only One who can wash us clean of our sins.Father raised Jesus Christ to life the 3rd day. He appeared to people and went back to heaven.We must receive Holy Jesus sincerely to be a child of God (John 1:12) and repent (Mark 1:15). "And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent and believe the gospel" (Mark 1:15). Jesus said in John 14:15 "f ye love me, keep My commandments." Once we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, we need to obey what Jesus said to do, if we truly Love Jesus Christ! There is a real hell. Revelation 21:8 says: "But the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable(detestable) and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, & idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone(sulfur) which is the second death." Please have a real encounter with Holy Jesus Christ if you never have and stay in a genuine relationship with Him daily please!
