I made the trip from Fairbanks to Anchorage 50 yrs ago while in the Air Force... It was a 2 lane black top road for 400 miles.. Once we got out of Fairbanks we didn't pass 10 cars in that 400 miles... Beautiful and very scenic ... i imagine you would pass 10 cars in one mile nowadays...

We love interior Alaska: no snakes, gators, poison ivy, poison oak, fire ants, chiggers, Lymes Disease, low humidity, no salt in the winter so vehicles do not rust out after ten years, no state income tax, no sales tax, permanent fund dividend check, waive on first $150,000 of property assessed for residents at 65 years old, free hunting/fishing license for residents at age 60, no vehicle inspections, very little in terms of regulations. Excellent freshwater and saltwater fishing in the summer. Sugar snow in the winter.

I've seen some job postings in Fairbanks. I've never been there but its very cold in winter. I've been to Anchorage though and saw the Denali from the distance out there in Anchorage.

I heard that there was a tradition in Dawson City, Yukon in Canada near Alaska where, in a bar, they put a human toe of a dead person in a whisky and they drink it.

And can you post on LBRY/Odysee? I don't use KZbin much these days.
@pizzaearthpancakesandother25493 жыл бұрын
KZbin tries to hide/block the TRUE info about the Kovid/vax scam and flat earth/ NASA fakery. They need to help keep people dumb/mind laundered! Check the channel "Globebusters" for the video "F-16 Pilot: The Earth is Flat!" from a retired USAF Pilot! 👍

Where would you spend more time, Fairbanks or Anchorage if you've 7-8 days? In terms of getting a hotel and visiting places with a rental car.
@IslandHopperTV Жыл бұрын
Anchorage and go to Denali in the North then also head south towards Kenai You could start in Fairbanks and drive south to Kenai then back up to Anchorage.

Black out blinds are nonsense just close your eyes and just sleep. I live in Nordic country and it is the same in here light summer nights and no trouble in sleeping what so ever. Americans are funny! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
