Revving up the excitement with jet skiing 5. Savoring delicious Thai cuisine 6. Relaxing with rejuvenating massages 7. Marveling at the Big Buddha tour 8. Visiting ancient temples 9. Me and my wife will be visiting Phuket in November, we like to visit the Big Budda, but when I Google it on Google Map, it's showing temporarily closed. That's a half day trip taken off our schedule. We're not planning any water activities, and we only have two and half days to spend in Phuket since we will arrive around sunset and have to depart in early afternoon on the fourth day due to flight availability. Currently, the weather forecast is not well. I hope this will change upon departure for Phuket. It's also disappointing when I heard Texas fried chicken just closed in Thailand already by the end of September.

I read about all the elephant sanctuaries in Phuket and discovered that none of them are ethical. All of them are cruel to the elephants and simply explore them. Please don’t do it if you care about the animals!

I was there a few months ago. I was shocked by the amount of russian people in patong. They're also not the most friendly type of people and make a big mess from the statues by putting they're beerglasses and other glasses and kebab papers on top of the statues. And they throw trash on the beach too. The only positive thing about those russians over there is the good looking russian women. Besides that patong is not thailand anymore. Best is to go to rawai in phuket. No russians and more calm and better prices for hotels.
