I celebrated my 30th birthday at Island house. I am 65 now, and still keep in touch with a few of the folks I met back then. I would love to visit again.

Dear Jeff: So, 40 years ago my partner and I spent our honeymoon at the Cypress House. Wanted to go back (Dec 2022) to take a walk down memory lane and decided on the Island House. Two major problems arose quickly: My partner now uses a EV scooter and none of the rooms have access for that and parking it out side your door presents the problem of how to charge the EV. The second problem is the VERY HIGH cost of a room at $575 we were blown away again. Seems like all the places to stay in Key West have very HIGH price tags. So guess we'll just have to live with our memories from long long ago.
