It probably makes other channels mad but I always tell them how much I love you channel , especially families and families with daughters . You are an incredible example for young girls . You let them know how much the world has to offer them and what is possible . You demand respect but are so friendly , fit in immediately with the people on your trips . I hear bits and pieces about what your interest were when you were young... I just can imagine because you are a go go go type of person . My Granddaughter is the brightest most sweet little girl ( 6 years old , talks a mile a minute ) and when I know she is reading well I will steer her to you . Kelly, I believe this is one of your best videos. You have a good mix of wilderness, animal in the wild, and great fishing. Last year when I was kayak fishing for white bass in south Texas I saw my first capybara eating on the bank of the Nueces River. I turned to get my phone to take a photo and when I turned back he was gone. They are so cute; their hair is slicked back as if they just combed it. Also saw 4 wild turkeys that day and a ring tailed hawk who stole one of my bass. Come to Texas for another adventure.

Howling monkeys, when pissed, will throw poop at you. Those big birds(Turkey, not as big)) are called Pauji Bright black feathers . Very seeked for their meat. Stripped catfish hit trolled/Casted lures all the time. Very good eating. The Fishing was great👍

@@IslandKey Seen them all, but Howling Monkeys the most common, They would make such a racket and scare game away. It's dif when they howl to set territory, than when the spot you and warn everything arround. When to obnouxious, would pepper them(Not to hit) with birdshot. Back in the day we(Hunters) were asked to kill them(By the Gov) because they carry the Yellow Fever virus. I never did. Local Indians do hunt them for meat

You are so thoughtful. Eat some wild life, feed some wild life. We live in Indianapolis and our son was working for Petco in San Diego and flew in to Chicago to do an audit on a DC. We met him and a co-worker in Chicago, and being a nature nut, I thought it would be interesting to tour Midewin Tall Grass Prairie. A huge sign warned of wearing black and brushing up against the tall grass. My son's buddy was in all black and must have brushed up some tall grass overhanging the path. We may have had one tick each, but the buddy was covered in ticks.
