It exists if you want a cleaner 2 player experience. Passing cards around and deciding what to keep and then What to buy without over spending can get fiddly with some ap brain burn in the original.

None of the Isle of Cats games have done it for me yet. And I heart polynomials. Not sure what is missing for me.
